SURPRISE EARLY UPDATE!!

-Peter's POV-

Each day is worse and worse I hate being the one to bring her to and from those horrible sessions with her and Jeanine.

I walk into the lab where Jeanine stands there, blonde hair pulled tightly back into a tight bun.

"You called for my presence?" I ask and stand in the doorway to unsure about going in. Those needles of multi-colored serums scare me.

"Yes Peter I did. Alright let's have a chat about Ash." I tense up knowing this can't be good.

"So tomorrow morning Eric will be escorting her to a different room than this lab. She then will be sat in front of a camera."

Oh god no

"I don't see much use for her so I think we should use her as a weapon so we can get those...those criminals."

"Why do you need me?" I ask crossing my arms across my chest.

"Your going to make sure she doesn't move." She says and I nod my head then walk out knowing tomorrow will go one of two ways.

*****

The next afternoon I walk with Eric down the colder than normal hallways to the place we keep her locked up. I don't see why they don't just kill her instead of torture her.

Eric opens the door and pulls Ash off of the cold ground by her elbow. She winces. How could someone who was so strong be so weak in only a matter of weeks?

Eric shove her in my direction and she tumbles. I catch her before she falls off her feet. "Let's get going." Eric says and walks out.
I clutch onto the bend of her elbow hard enough to know she'll have two finger print bruises. She keeps her head hung low, eyes on the ground. We get to the room and she looks up with confusion.

"You better do as we say or we'll put a bullet in your leg." Eric say punching a code into a keypad.

Ash only lets out a tired sigh and for a moment I think what could be going through her mind. "I wouldn't care if you put it through my heart." She says quietly causing my chest to ache. I try to picture myself in her place but I can't-god Peter shut up and stop being soft she's just a girl.

I walk her into the room and sit her in a chair in front of a camera. "Say hello to the people Ash." Eric sneers shutting the door. I notice a familiar looking syringe in his hand. One that would put her out of her misery like a dog with a tumor.

Ash says nothing only staring down at the floor. I notice a tear slip down her cheek. She was never like this in Dauntless, I remember when I first saw her On the train though she was one of the rudest most arrogant person ever but seeing her like this almost makes me cringe.

"Thought she was dead huh Four?" Eric says causing Ash to tense. "I know your watching so let's make a deal." He says walking over to Ash tilting her chin up and holding the needle against her neck. "You come down here and turn yourself and the stiff in and we'll let your sister go free."

What?

Sister?

Oh shit....

Ash keeps quiet and closes her eyes letting tears fall down her cheeks. "We'll set her free once you do." Eric says a smirk playing on his lips.

"Just kill me already." Ash says and Eric chuckles. "You've got till dawn Four." With that the camera shuts off and Eric sets the needle down on a small metal table.

"Take her away Peter." He says and pushes her off the chair to the ground then walks out. I walk over and bend down next to her to lift her to her feet. I notice her eyes look at the syringe that contains the deadly liquid. She looks back at me with pleading eyes but I look away from the grey eyes that were once full of color and drag her back to her room.
