A/N;; hi guys ^-^ this chapter kinda sucks badly but hey oh well it'll get better xD[word count; 1201] enjoy! xoxo

I hesitantly walked into the locker room, my heart dropping to my stomach at the sight of a bloody, worn out Calum sitting on the bench. He turned to look at me, and his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

“You're not Alexa,” he commented, and I shook my head.

“Obviously not. I don't even know who that is.”

“It's my girlfriend.” A piece of my heart just died.

“Right, okay. That's not why I'm here. Apparently I've been volunteered to take care of your cuts.” His expression softened significantly.

“Oh, okay. Thanks.”

“Yeah. Sit on the sink, please. Is it just your face?”

“Uh, no. There's a cut on my side too.” Seriously? I just learn that my crush has a girlfriend, and now I have to see him shirtless? God, Ashton was going to die today.

“O-oh. Take your shirt off then, I guess.” It took him a minute but Calum got up off of the bench, pulling his shirt off and tossing it aside before sitting on the sink.

I took my time walking over to him, standing in between his legs and placing my hand underneath his jaw, turning his head to evaluate the damage.

Calum had a split, bloody lip, a small cut above his eye, a bruised jaw and a long cut on his side. I opened the first aid kit, taking out one of the little red packages labeled 'alcohol towel' and ripped it open, throwing the wrapper in the barrel.

“Isn't that going to hurt?” He questioned.

“You're a big boy, aren't you? You can take it, I took the small towel, wiping away the blood from his lip and eye with it. Calum's jaw was tensed the whole time, and he relaxed when I pulled it away.

“Not so bad, right?” He shrugged, and I looked through the kit for cut cream to apply to his eye.

“This won't hurt, but it'll be cold.” I put a little bit of cream on my finger, dabbing it along the cut. Calum jumped, chuckling lightly.

“Cold,” he commented and I nodded, “told you it would be.”

I applied some of the cream to the blossoming bruise on his jaw which would definitely be 10x worse tomorrow. Reaching into the kit, I pulled out an ice pack.

“Here, hold that on your jaw,” I instructed before kneeling down slightly to look at the cut on his side.

“That's a nasty cut.. does it hurt?” He shrugged again,

“I didn't really feel it when it happened. Adrenaline. It's like an antibiotic, you don't notice you're in pain because there's pure energy coursing through you. It's amazing, y'know?”

I nodded like I understood, but I had no idea what he was talking about. I wiped the blood away from his side with another alcohol towel, his entire body tensed. I looked up at him from where I was.

“Relax, I'm almost done.”

I finished wiping it off, pulling the peroxide from the kit and his eyes immediately widened, shaking his head.

“No, no, no. You're not using that.”

“What's the matter? Big, tough captain of the hockey team afraid of peroxide?” I teased, raising an eyebrow at him. Gently, I opened the peroxide and used a Q-tip to apply it to his cut. Calum's hands balled into fists, and I blew on it until the bubbling stopped.

“Ah,” he let out a sigh of relief, “How'd you know to do that?”

“It's what my mom did anytime she used peroxide. Trust me, I don't like it either,” I shrugged, standing up, “anyways, you're done. Free to go.”

He got off of the sink muttering a quick thanks before pulling his jersey back on.

I closed the first aid kit, placing it beside the sink where I found it and making my way back out to my seat, immediately greeted by the two girls.

“Hey, where were you?” Kaylee questioned, looking at me as I sat back down.

“Ashton, the little ass he is, decided to volunteer me to clean up Calum.”

Taylor and Kaylee both smirked at me.

“Actually..”

“It may have been our idea, and not Ashton's.” Taylor spoke, grinning at Kaylee.

“Are you serious?”

“Sorry? Hey, at least he's noticed you now.” Kaylee pointed out, and I groaned.

“It doesn't matter, he has a girlfriend..” I mumbled, receiving sad looks from the girls.

“Stop that. It's not like he would've ever taken an interest in me anyways. His girlfriend is probably a great girl.” I shrugged, trying to hide the fact that a piece of my heart basically died.

“Alexa?” Taylor scoffed, Kaylee shaking her head.

“What about her?” I asked, confused.

“Alexa is a straight up bitch, capital B.” Taylor said, emphasis on the word bitch.

“He'd be doing himself a favor if he went out with you, babe.” Kaylee continued, and I shook my head.

“That's bullshit. Who is Alexa, anyways?” Taylor put her hand underneath my jaw, turning my head towards a small group of four girls.

“The one on the far right is Alexa Reynolds, the biggest bitch here at BC.”

I looked at the one on the far right, the girl with obviously dyed red hair and green eyes. Her skin was flawless.

“She's studying law. She's kinda smart honestly.” Kaylee shrugged.

“Alexa is flawless,” my teeth sunk into my lower lip, and Alexa turned her head to meet my stare. She gave me that cliché bitch look that said 'I'm better than you' and 'what the hell are you looking at' at the same time. My gaze immediately shifted back to Taylor and Kaylee and shook my head.

“She's fucking perfect, guys.”

“Noelle, no. She sucks. Alexa is basically holding Calum at gun point. Apparently she has something on him, and that's why they're together. He physically can't leave her or he'll be ruined. I dunno. At least that's what Ashton told me.” My sister explained, shrugging towards the end.

“Why don't you talk to Ash? He's quite close to Cal, y'know.” Taylor smirked, nudging my arm.

“Tay, he doesn't even know my name.” I sighed, and we sat in silence for a bit.

“Oh, I forgot to tell you guys,” both of them turned to me with questioning looks, “Marcella came for a visit.”

Kaylee was the first to respond, “okay, uhm, let's go back to our dorm and you can explain what happened to us?” she said, though it was more of a question. I nodded, and we all stood up.

Back at the dorm, Kaylee and I were both on our beds with Tay on mine. I explained what happened, both of their expressions blank until the end.

“So basically, you slayed her,” Tay said simply, all three of us erupting into laughter.

“Yeah, I guess you could put it like that.”

“Hey, the game is almost over. Wanna call the boys and see if we can hang out or something afterwards?” Kay suggested, looking between us two.

“Yeah, sounds fun.” I shrugged, Taylor nodding in agreement.

None of us knew that the next few days would change everything.
