The Bodyguard

"just being paranoid?"

I slowly moved my hands towards the side table to grab my gun. Once I had a good grip on it I cocked it back making the figure stop.

Mattia: Get out. Or I'll shoot you.

They slowly walked backwards and out of the room closing the door behind them. How am I supposed to sleep now?

I layed wide awake in bed until I saw the sun begin to rise. I looked y/n's neck and it was bruised.

Mattia: Y/n. Baby wake up.

Y/n: hm. Why are you awake so early? It's six o'clock.

Mattia: I couldn't sleep. Anyway you need to have that talk with Kairi asap.

Y/n: Okay. Is something wrong?

Mattia: Don't worry about that right now. Call Kairi and let him know that you guys need to talk, okay?

Y/n: Okay...

She sat up and texted Kairi. She then got up and walked to the bathroom. I followed her in.

Y/n: Okay you are acting really weird Mattia. What happened last night?

I closed and locked the door. I then signaled her to stay quiet. I waited for silence. It was so quiet I could hear y/n's breathing. I walked over to her and hugged her tightly. I turned my head to whisper in her ear because its too quiet. I know someone is listening to us.

Mattia: Last night when you were asleep a man came into our room and I have no idea why he came but I told him to leave.

Y/n: Oh... How do you know he was bad?

Mattia: Because. Why sneak into the room? Why come in at three AM?

Y/n: You're right.

She pulled away and I left the bathroom. I sat on the bed feeling anxious. What if she gets kidnapped? Or they come after my boys? Its not them I'm worried about. Its y/n, anything could happen. Y/n walked out of the bathroom.

Y/n: Babe, stop being so paranoid. We'll be fine.

Mattia: So you still don't want to run away with me?

Y/n: No, I can't.

But why...

Mattia: Worth a shot.

About forty-five minutes later Kairi got to the house and y/n left with him. I stayed in our room and waited for Zach. At about 11:30 he came into our room.

Zach: Goodmorning. Is y/n here?

Mattia: Nope.... What did you do to her?

Zach: What are you talking about?

Mattia: I know you said something to her! She just won't tell me! Now I'll ask again. What did you do to her!

Zach: I have no idea what your talking about.

Mattia: Fine, then explain who snuck into our room last night.

Zach: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Mattia: STOP PLAYING STUPID!

Zach: You're delusional.

This is stupid. I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. I pulled him to my level.

Mattia: Need me to jog your memory?

Zach: Maybe you've forgotten the position you're in. You are in MY house, Y/n is MY fiancé, and her mother doesn't know you two are fucking behind her back. You can't lay a finger on me.

Mattia: ....

Zach: Thats right. Let me go.

Reluctantly, I let go of him.

Zach: Now answer this, how good in bed is she? I want to know for the blood alliance, you know, just business.

I pushed him and pinned him on the wall. I glared at him.

Mattia: Say what you want, tell who you want, but do not talk about y/n like that.

He didn't look fazed. He looked like he enjoyed my anger... I pushed him and left the house. I went back to our headquarters for the bodyguard service I work for. I found Alejandro and Kairi's room and walked in. Kairi was gone, probably out with y/n still. It was just Alejandro.

Ale: Hey man, what's wrong?

Mattia: Zach! I know that fuckhead did something to y/n!

Ale: What do you mean?

Mattia: He threatened her in someway. She said she couldn't tell me, but she could tell Kairi.

Ale: Are you sure you aren't just being paranoid?

Mattia: Yes! Why is everyone saying that!?

Ale: I don't know man, but you don't look too good.

I don't feel good. Something is wrong with y/n, and I know Zach has something planned.

Mattia: I don't know.... I think I just need some sleep...

Ale: Yeah man, take my bed. Follow me.

I followed him, and layed in his bed. I was asleep in minutes.

*y/n's POV*

Kairi took me to go out to eat. We got a table and he requested a booth in the corner of the restaurant. He sat next to me, making me sit by the wall.

Kairi: So whats wrong?

Y/n: Mattia was right...

Kairi: About?

Y/n: Zach... he wants me to himself... I can't tell Mattia or he'll tell my mom about Mattia and I.

Kairi: I mean thats not that bad is it?

Y/n: He said he'll kill Mattia... I know he wasn't lying... he grabbed my throat too...

I showed him my neck. It was bruised.

Kairi: Oh my god... Well what do you need?

Y/n: I need you to keep Mattia safe...

Kairi: Y/n..? What are you saying?

Y/n: I need you to keep him away from me and Zach, make him move on. I can't live knowing that any day could be his last.

Kairi: Y/n, no. He's a bodyguard, its his job. And Mattia won't move on... He hadn't gotten over Jenna and she died. Whatever you do won't work.

Y/n: I disagree.

Kairi: Wha-... Y/n no... Don't cheat on him. He'll break. If you do that you don't know how he will react. He could go crazy, or kill himself.

Y/n: You're right... God damn it! Why does this have to be so difficult!?

Kairi: Shut up and kiss me.

Y/n: Wha-

I was cut off by Kairi's lips being pressed against mine...
