Kairi's pov

I got a call from y/n, which worried me. Hopefully she's just checking up on us.

*the call*

Kai: Hey.

Y/n: Do you know where Mattia is?

Kai: Huh? No. Ale and I have been getting settled into your parents place.

Y/n: He's not here. Zach told me he r-ran away.

She's scared.

Y/n: Zach is playing a sick game. He's trying to get into my head and its working...

Kai: Hey, it's okay. He wouldn't leave you like that. Let Alejandro and I figure it out, and just focus on preparing for the wedding.

Y/n: Shit that's 2 weeks away.

Kai: Just worry about that. Stay safe y/n, love you.

Y/n: Love you too, bye.

*call ended*

Ale: Who was that?

Kai: Y/n. Mattia is missing.

Ale: Do you think he ran away?

Kai: No. I think Zach or Crystal is hiding him somewhere.

Ale: How do you know that?

Kai: Yesterday I was on the phone with Mattia and I made sure he still had his ring the bodyguard agency gave us. It hasn't vibrated shocked or done anything at all. If he really does still have it we can track him.

Ale: What happens if it shocks us?

Kai: ....It means the ring can't feel his pulse. If you feel a shock tell me immediately.

Ale and I looked through our boxes to find his laptop. Once we found it I took the ring off and it vibrated then shocked Ale.

Ale: Ow! There's no way we can miss it when he takes off the ring or.... yeah.

I looked for the number code that connects our rings. Once he found it we tracked the other ring.

Ale: Uh Kairi...

Kai: Yeah? Did you find him?

Ale: He's here...

Kai: What do you mean "He's here"?

Ale: I mean he's in this house somewhere. That or he's underground.

Kai: What the fuck...

*Mattia's pov*

My eyes begin to open. As I'm looking around I don't recognize my surroundings. Where am I? Am I chained up? I'm so cold...

???: You're awake.

I look around this huge room filled with torture tools. Where are they? I look up towards the ceiling and there is a metal balcony connected to stairs that lead to my level. I can't see who it is. The lights are too bright.

Mattia: Who are you?

I said it in a whisper.

???: What was that? I'm sorry I didn't hear you.

They began to walk down the stairs. I can tell its a woman. The voice says it all.
Crystal.

Crystal: Zach said you were difficult to get a hold of.

*flashback*

I was falling asleep and I heard footsteps coming from the side of the bed. I reached for my gun that was on my sweater. They stepped on my hand and pulled me off the bed. They tried to place a cloth on my mouth but I held my breath and pushed their hand away. I pulled them down on the floor. I grabbed the cloth and placed it on their mouth causing them to fall asleep. Someone takled me from behing knocking the plant over. I flipped over and fought till I was able to get up and run. I tried to get to y/n. I almost made it to the stairs but I was hit on the head. I fell on my back. Once my vision cleared I saw Zach...

Zach: Stay down Mattia. You will never see Y/n again.

I tried to punch him but before I could he placed the cloth on my mouth and everything went blank.

*end of flashback*

Crystal: Are you remembering now?

Mattia: Shut the fuck up.

Crystal: I wouldn't talk like that if I were in your shoes.

Mattia: We are two different people don't talk like you are some genius.

Crystal: You have no right to talk in the position you are in!

Mattia: I don't fucken care!

Crystal: You are below me! You have no authority, no power, and no love!

Mattia: You wanna talk abouy love!? You are using your husband to gain power! He loves you but do you love him?! I don't think so!

Crystal: I'm done with this.

She walked down the stairs and put a pair of gloves on. As well as an apron. She took a pair of scissors and cut my shirt revealing the hundreds of scars I have.

Crystal: ....

Mattia: You will never be able to endorse the pain I felt that day.

She walked behind me and looked at my back. Which was scarred just as bad.

Crystal: Why would you endure this much pain.

Mattia: I'm not telling you shit. I had no will to live, but now I do, and she needs me now more than ever.

Crystal: Really? I thought the love of your life died.

Mattia: ....

Crystal: Wasn't it under your watch? She died when you were protecting her? What makes you think you can save this one?

I can push her away. Keep her as far away as possible. Once I get out of this we will leave. Y/n and I will be together, in peace. Away from the mafia, the bodyguards, Zach, everyone. We will be safe. A smile formed on my face. Crystal slapped me.

Crystal: I'm talking to you!

Mattia: Who said I have to listen?

*four hours later*

She's been trying to break me. Get me so close to death that I'll tell her what ever she wants. But I will never crack. For y/n. I must stay silent.

*Kairi's pov*

Ale figured out how to see his vitals and breathing. His heartrate and breathing have been way too high for the past four hours.

Ale: Have you seen Crystal?

Kairi: Haven't seen her in like.... four hours....

Ale: Fuck, she's hurting him.

Kairi: Not again... He'll endure it for y/n. He did for Jenna after she died.

The lights in our room cut out. Ale and I stayed silent in the darkness. I heard Ale struggling. Then I was put in a choke hold until I couldn't breathe. I passed out...
