The Bodyguard

Jenna

I woke up and saw Mattia next to me. It startled me. I noticed that his arm was around my waist. If he doesn't wake up soon my mother is going to kill us both. I felt his warm breath against my cheek. I looked at him. He is so hot. I'm starting to catch feelings and I barely know him. He started moving and I played like I was asleep.

*Mattia's POV *
I woke up and didn't know where I was I looked and saw y/n peacefully sleeping. I want to kiss her... No thats weird. I noticed that my arm was on her waist. I slowly removed it from her waist. How did I get here? Oh yeah... what y/n said brought back memories. Jenna... I need to wake y/n up but, she looks so beautiful right now. I got up and walked into her bathroom. I turned on the water to the sink and splashed my face with cold water. I looked over at y/n and she looked like she was waking up. I patted my face dry and left her room.

*y/n's POV*
He got up and walked into my bathroom. I started "waking up" and he noticed. He left my room and my room felt empty without his presence. I got ready for the day and walked down stairs. I saw the boys in the kitchen with my mom. I wanted to scare one of them so I snuck up but I stopped to listen to what they were talking about.

Mom: We will be having guests over tonight and all of this week.

Mattia: Why?

Mom: I'm getting to that. They are a close friend of my husband's and we made an agreement to make our empire stronger, bigger, and better.

Mattia: Okay but how.

Mom: They have a son. He will-

Mattia: You can't do that to her!

I decided to walk in. I'm very confused.

Y/n: Do what to me?

Mom: Oh nothing sweetheart.

She glared at the boys and left the kitchen.

Y/n: What was that all about.

Kairi: Nothing.

Mattia: We should go get lunch.

Ale: Kairi and I have to run some errands for y/n's mom. Bring us something back.

Mattia: Okay.

Mattia and I left. The car rude was silent.

Y/n: Are we gonna talk about why you broke down then passed out last night?

He looked over at me and he looked sad.

Y/n: If you don't want to tell me I respect that.

Mattia: No I just shouldn't tell you while driving.

He pulled into a parking lot near a lot of fast food places, and restaurants. He stayed silent for a couple minutes. I placed my hand on top of his. He looked at me and gave me a weak smile.

*Mattia's POV*

I have to tell y/n about Jenna. I just need to speak clearly... Easier said than done.

Mattia: So on my first job as a bodyguard, I was assigned to a girl named Jenna. She was 17, I was 18. I knew everything about her. We were constantly with each other, but... I never talked to her. I knew her but she knew nothing about me. I fell in love with her. One day when I had to take her to the mall we were attacked. Our car was hanging off tbe side of the bridge. She couldn't get out. She tried to get out herself but the broke the window and was hanging out the side of the side of the car. I calmed her down and told her, "Grab my hand, trust me. You'll be okay." She looked at me, then the men waiting for us to get out of the car.... and she-

I can't ever speak. Y/n grabbed my hand and something about it calmed me.

Mattia: She decided it would be best to let go, and die. Instead of trusting me with her life.

Y/n had tears in her eyes. She pulled me into a hug and stayed still. I didn't know if I should hug back or not. I did and I felt something, like a spark. I can't describe it. Only y/n has made me feel this way. I've never been able to talk about Jenna then be fine after. Y/n makes me happy...

*y/n' POV*

Seeing Mattia that upset hurt me. I wanted to cry. I hugged him and it seemed like he didn't know what to do. He eventually hugged me back and I could feel his smile against my neck. I pulled away and he stared into my eyes. He glanced down to my lips and leaned in. I leaned in until I saw some one at Mattia's window. It was Alejandro and Kairi. I pulled away and he looked confused until he turned around. I could feel how red my face was. Mattia turned pink and got out of the car and chased the boys. I got out of the car and managed to get Mattia off of Kairi. He was tickling him. Alejandro hid behind a tree. Not very well but it worked.

Kairi: Why'd you pull away y/n! We were gonna scare you guys!

Y/n: You already did!

Mattia: How long were you two watching us?

Ale: Got gere just in time to see you get rejected!

Mattia gave Alejandro a pissed look.

Y/n: I didn't reject him! Uh.

I realized what I said and Mattia's face lit up.

Kairi: So you would've kissed him?

Y/n: Uhhh, yes...?

Ale: I'm not buying it.

That annoyed me and I walked up to Mattia grabbed his face and kissed his lips. He was shocked at first. He kissed back and I blocked out the boys hyping Mattia up. Nothing else mattered. His lips are so soft. So kissable. I slowly pulled away and was taken out of my trance. I heard the boys yelling and Kairi puts his arm over my shoulder.

Kairi: Come here.
