The Bodyguard

"They're here."

I locked the door, grabbed Mattia and pulled him away from the door.

Mattia: What the fuck is going on?!

Ale: Your guess is as good as mine!

Mattia and I started looking for a way out. The windows have bars on them. The only way out is through the door...
A bullet went straight through the door again.

???: This is your warning. If you don't come out with your hands in the air I will kill you.

He might not know that Mattia is here. I placed my index finger on my lips silencing Mattia.

Ale: What do you want with me?

???: There is a price on your head.

Ale: You got the wrong guy man.

???: No I don't make mistakes. Alejandro Rosario.

Fuck. Who put a bounty on me?

Zach...

Ale: Still got the wrong guy.

I signaled Mattia to go to the door.

???: No, I know it's you Alejandro. I'm going to collect this bounty whether you are dead or alive.

Ale: Alright.

Mattia was ready. I opened the door and moved out of the way. The man charged in and Mattia shot him in the back. He screamed in pain. I pinned him on the floor. Mattia closed and locked the door.

Ale: Who placed the bounty.

???; I ain't telling you shit!

I placed my knee on his wound and applied a little pressure, causing him pain.

???: Alright! Alright! Stop! I'll tell you!

Ale: Get to talking, the longer we sit here the less time you have to see a doctor.

???: It was a man in his early twentys. He had brown hair and green ish eyes.

Ale: I need a name.

???: I don't know his name! He used a fake name! He called himself Zsmitty!

Mattia: That has to be Zack. I knew he wanted us dead. We need to find Y/n

???: There's one problem.

Mattia: What?!

???: Every bounty hunter in the city is looking for you boys. It won't be easy to look for her.

Ale: Shit if we were found what about Kairi!?

*Kairi's POV *

Y/n took me into her parents house and I was greeted to six guns in my face.

Kairi: Nice to be welcomed back.

Mom: Y/n! What a pleasant surprise! What brings you here?

Y/n: I need to talk with dad.

Mom: Okay let's go.

Y/n: No the three of us. Just me, Dad, and Kairi.

Mom: Oh... Why?

Y/n: Its business things. You wouldn't understand.

She pushed passed her mother and dragged me behind her. We walked up the stairs while her mother stared in disbelief. Once we got to Mr. Rios' office she knocked on the door and entered the room. Her father looked annoyed but then relieved.

*Y/n's pov*

Rios: Y/n! I missed you.

He got up and hugged me. I weakly hugged back.

Y/n: I don't want to waist either of our time. Why did you hire that man to follow me?

Rios: Because I didn't trust them.

Y/n: But why?

Rios: There are rumors about him and the other two trying to kill me.

Y/n: They wouldn't. Who told you that?

Rios: Your mother? What are you really doing here y/n?

Y/n: Zach is trying to kill Mattia and force me to love him.

Rios: ....

Y/n: He did this.

I pulled my hoodie lower so he could see the bruises on my neck from Zack. I told my dad everything. Including everything regarding Mattia, I trust my dad with this information. My dad has so many emotions on his face. Anger, shock, fear, and betrayal.

Rios: Zach did that?!

Y/n: Yes! Mom is suspicious as well!

Rios: I'm very hurt to hear that y/n, but you might be right... you need to go back with Zach and act like you were never here. Act like nothing is wrong. Like before he threatened you.

Y/n: Okay. What will you do dad?

Rios: I'll try to get more solid evidence. I can't have any of my men watching you so Kairi, please keep eye on her. Ask Zach if you can live in their house.

Kairi: I can't do that. It could give Zach an advantage. Everyone he wants dead in the same house. Mattia still lives there and he stayed up all last night because he didn't feel y/n was safe.

Rios: Okay. Consider moving back in with me. I've heard more rumors of a bounty.

Kairi: Are you sure?

Rios: You aren't safe anywhere else. You Alejandro and Mattia, if he decides to leave, can live here for as long as you need. My wife will have no say in this.

Kairi: Thank you so much.

Kairi's phone started ringing. He answered.

*the call*

Kairi: Hello?

Mattia: Where are you? Is Y/n okay?

Kairi: Yes she's okay and we are at her parents house.

Mattia: What are you doing there?

Kairi: We talked with her father and he is 100% on our side. Alejandro and I have a new place to live.

Mattia: Perfect timing.

Kairi: What do you mean?

Mattia: Alejandro and I were attacked at your guy's place. Your front door has a couple holes in it and the carpet has a bloodstain.

Kairi: Fuck are you guys okay?

Mattia: Yeah. The hunter seemed like a rookie. Ale and I were able to take him out pretty quick.

Kairi: Alright. Stay safe I'll drop y/n off at Zach's and I'll see you later.

Mattia: Okay bye.
