"...dead or alive."

I tried to pull away but he grabbed my neck and held me in place. He then moved away and moved to my ear and whispered.

Kairi: I'm sorry, but someone followed us. I don't want him seeing your face. He might be here to take you.

Y/n: As long as you have a good reason.

Kairi: I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable.

Y/n: For a sec, but I knew you'd have a reason.

I looked up and saw a man staring at us. I turned my head and layed my head near his neck. I whispered.

Y/n: I think I found our guy.

He turned and he looked at the man on the other side of the restaurant staring at us.

*Kairi's POV*

The longer I looked at him the more familiar he looked.

Kairi: Wait I know him.

Y/n: Who is he?

Kairi: He is the man that hired me and the boys to guard you.

Y/n: What do you mean?

Kairi: When the three of us were hired, he was the one who came to our building. He told us who you are, how much we were getting paid and things like that. I'm going to talk to him. I'll be back.

Y/n: Okay, Kairi. Be careful.

I nodded and walked over to his table. I sat at a angle so I could still see y/n.

Kairi: Why are you following us and who hired you.

???: Can't remember. Maybe you could jog my memory.

I put a 50$ on the table.

???: Mr. Castillo. He hired me to follow y/n. I watched you three when you were guarding y/n outside their estate.  He heard rumors of you and her little boyfriend killing Zach and taking over what he has made.

Kairi: Wait so where did these rumors come from?

???: I have no idea, but if you ask me its the wife. She has Mr. Castillo wrapped around her finger.

Kairi: I fucken knew it.

???: Aye so what's the deal with you and y/n?

Kairi: Nothing we aren't in a relationship in anyway.

???: Oh... What about her and the tall one?

I don't know if he is trying to trick me.

Kairi: None of us have a relationship with Y/n.

???: Okay.

Kairi: Alright thanks for your time.

???: No problem.

I git up but before I could walk away he called out to me.

???: Aye Kairi. Watch your back. There is a price on your head. You and your goons, dead or alive.

What? Someone payed a bounty on us? Shit. I quickly walked back to the table this time I put my back to the rest of the restaurant.

Y/n: Who is he?

Kairi: Your father payed him to follow you around when one of us is with you. Once we get our food you need to leave immediately. You are in danger.

Y/n: What do you mean I need to leave? What about you?

Kairi: You need to stay clear of Mattia for a little while.

I looked out the window and there was a man looking into my car. He then glanced around and almost made direct eye contact. I turned away.

Y/n: What's happening Kairi? Whats wrong with Mattia? What's wrong with you?

She slightly raised her voice.

Kairi: Shhhh! You're being loud.

Y/n: Because your not telling me anything!

Kairi: Someone put a bounty on my head. Not just mine, but Alejandro and Mattia's too.

Y/n: Someone wants you guys dead?

Kairi: The bounty is dead or alive, and personally it's easier to collect your bounty when they are dead.

Y/n: How would you know?

Kairi:... That's not important. You need to leave y/n.

Y/n: I'm not leavening you alone!

Kairi: Shhh! Are you trying to cause a scene?

Y/n: I'm frustrated. You're telling me almost nothing.

Kairi: Because there is no time to explain. Just trust me right now. Now its not a good idea for you to try to leave.

Y/n: Why?

Kairi: Because a bounty hunter is in the restaurant now.

*y/n's POV*

A bounty hunter is in the restaurant? The waiter came finally with our food and Kairi only poked at it. He kept glancing around. He's looking for the hunter.

Y/n: Hey relax. Everything will be okay once I talk with my father.

He calmed down a bit and took a couple bites then stopped. If thats as good as its going to get I'm okay with that. Kairi was still anxious.

Y/n: Whats wrong?

Kairi: I feel like someone is wa-

There was a gun shot. Kairi immediately got up grabbed my hand and ran. We passed by the man who my dad hired and he was dead. Why would they shoot him? Kairi pushed me to the driver's side and got in the back. He layed down on the seats.

Y/n: What are you doing?

Kairi: How else am I going to keep you safe if you won't let me leave?! Go to your parents house.

I drove and thought about what to say to my father.

*Alejandro's pov*

Mattia was sleeping on my bed while I was waiting for my boss to give Kairi and I a job. I was chilling on my phone when the power went out. There was still light outside so I could see in our room still. There was silence. Something feels off. I walked over to my bed to wake Mattia. When I got close I heard a knock at the door.

Ale: Mattia. Mattia wake up.

Mattia: I'm up. I'm up. What do you want?

Ale: Something is wrong.

I grabbed my gun and walked to the front door. Mattia grabbed his gun and stood behind the door. He nodded and I slowly opened up the door. A tall man stood on the other side. I don't recognize him.

Ale: Can I help you?

???: Yes, yes you can.

He quickly reached for something in his coat jacket. He pulled out a gun. My first reaction was to close the door. I slammed the door in his face and a bullet went straight through the door.
