The next morning, I was having breakfast when I heard a knock on the door. I knew it was Samuel so I opened the door and let him in.

I pointed to the couch. " Please sit down. "

" Do you want breakfast? " I asked him.

He rudely looked at me. " I'm not here for chitchat and breakfast Kimberly, you know why I'm here so please, go get my son. " he said straight to the point.

" Well you don't have to be so rude."

" And as for your request, yeah, that's not happening. " I said to him.

" Excuse me? " He looked at me with a bewildered expression.

" Well Mr Blackwood, you can't expect me to let you take my child without a fight. I am not a weak woman and I don't care about the fact that you're a billionaire. I love my child and I'm not going to let you take him away from me. " my chest heaved with emotions.

" Wow miss Kimberly, I must say I'm impressed with your courage. But you should know something. " He stood up and walked over to me, invading my personal space. His face was like two inches away from mine.

" I always get what I want Kimberly. When this is all over, you'll be the one crying and I'll be with my son.

Our breaths mingled together and his scent invaded my senses and his hot and minty breath fanned my face.

I'm not backing out now,

" Mr Blackwood, I'd appreciate it if you left some distance between us and I don't care what you say, I'm filling for the full custody of my child."

He glared at me and moved away from me.

" You're making a big mistake. You'll regret this I assure you. " he said and walked out.

I placed my hand over my chest to steady my heart beat.

I'll see you in court Mr Blackwood.

Angus arrived a week later in time for the court hearing. I took my baby with me and I was accompanied by Angus, Abby and Paul.

The court house was small. Designed for small cases like child custody. Mr blackwood was accompanied by a lawyer and another lady.

The judge was a woman in her early fifties with brown hair and little strands of silver.

She cleared her throat. " Good morning, this court has been assigned to the case of child custody between Mr Samuel blackwood and Miss Kimberly Samuel. " The judge said as she flipped through the papers in front of her.

" This is a hearing requested by the plaintiff Mr Angus Celeste and his client Miss Kimberly William are you aware of this Mr blackwood? "

" Yes, your honor." Samuel said.

" Okay let's get started. Mr Mcwilliams, would you like your client to get on the stand now? " She asked Samuel's hot shot lawyer.

" Yes your honor. " he said and Samuel moved to the witness box.

" Please state your full name. "

" Samuel Andy Blackwood. "

" Please place your hand on this Bible and swear that you'll say nothing but the truth. " the judge requested.

He placed his hand on the Bible " I Samuel Andy blackwood solemnly swear that I'll speak the truth and nothing but the truth "

" Now, Mr blackwood, I want you to tell this court what you know about this woman. " His lawyer requested.
