Chapter 12

Samuel

     The past few days has really been stressful for Kimberly and I and I knew that the vacation would be a great idea. It had been five years since I visited the island. I sat down on the sand as I watched Kimberly take off her clothes and was clad in the sexy swimsuit. Her curves were on full display.

     ” God she's hot.” I groaned.

   She entered the water and disappeared for a few minutes and then she came up for some air.

     ” Fuck this.” I couldn't sit there and stare at her without getting a hard-on. I stood up from the sand and walked to the water. I entered the water and it felt amazing.

     It was hot and the water was cold talk about a perfect temperature.

         I swam and reached Kimberly. She was having so much fun. Splashing water.

     When she finally noticed me, she was flustered and she moved away from me.

     ” Come on Kim , why are you always running from me? I'm your husband remember?”

     ” We both know that this is a marriage of convenience Samuel, leave it at that.” she said and my face fell.

      We would never be able to make this marriage work.

    But I planned to make it work. We were already married. We might as well be happy. I don't think that'll happen cause Kimberly hates me.

     I splashed water at her just to see her reaction. She stared at me with her eyes wide open. Then she did the one thing I never thought she would do. She splashed back with a big smile on her face. This was the first time I was seeing her smile so genuinely. She had a very beautiful smile. She noticed I was staring at her and she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. I guessed I flustered her.

   ” I'm hungry now, do you want to eat?” I asked her.

     ” Yeah but we didn't come with any food is there a restaurant around?” she asked.

    ” I had someone bring some food for us.”

    ” Come on.” I said as I helped her out of the water.

    ” Thank you.” she said.

     ” Now tell me Mrs Blackwood why are you thanking me.”

    ” Um for everything”

   I let out a laugh.” Everything is nothing Kimberly, be specific.”

    "Ugh okay fine. Cocky bastard.” She said under her breath.

    ” What did you call me?"

    ” Uh... Nothing?”  She said and she ran knowing I heard what she said.

    I ran after her and I caught up with her in no time. She was fast but I was faster. I grabbed her by her waist and placed her on my shoulders.

   " Oh my God. Put me down Samuel. Put me down.” She pounded her tiny hands on my back and it had no effect. I placed her down on her feet and spread the mat on the sand. ”Come-on sit down.”

    When I looked at her she was as red as a tomato. I smiled at the thought I was making her blush.
  
   I opened the basket.

   ” So I had them make us snacks instead of food.” I said as I opened the food flask.

     ” Eat up.” I said pushing the plate to her. She took an egg roll and ate it. I watched how her lips  moved while she chewed and I wondered.  Would they be soft? What would it be like to taste it? Gosh they look so inviting.

     I was so caught up in my thoughts and I didn't realize she was talking to me.

   ” Samuel. Samuel .”
 
  ” Hmm?" I snapped out of it.

    ” I was wondering if it would be a good idea to video call your mom. I want to see kyle.”  she said looking at me expectantly.

   ” Sure it would be nice. You don't have to ask me though Kyle is also your son and we're family now so my mom won't mind. Let's make the call together.” I suggested.

    ” Great."  She said with a big smile on her face.

     I grabbed a doughnut from the flask and a moan escaped Kimberly's lips.

    She gasped and used her hands to cover her mouth. " I'm sorry . This egg roll is just too good.” She apologized and once again, she was blushing.

     ” It's okay.” I said.  Seems like I would have to take a cold shower today cause Kimberly is setting my body on fire. I don't think I can survive this day alone with her.

     After we finished eating, we took a ride around the island. Only showing her the safe places.
I don't know why but I'm protective of her.

    I took her to my favorite place in the island. We had to ditch the ATV and we walked past the waterfall.

    ” Whoa, it's even more beautiful from here.”

    ” you've seen it before?”

   ”Yes. Our room has a nice view of it.”

     ” Really? How come I've never noticed?" He asked.

    ” Have you ever heard of opening the curtains?” she asked with a teasing smile.

    I smiled." I guess you're right. I don't think I've  seen the curtains opened in that room. Not that I spend much time there. Anyway, let's go” we passed the waterfall and I led her into the forest.

    ” Whoa it's creepy in here."

   ” Don't be scared Kimberly, it's totally safe here.”

     ” Anddddddd We're here.” I said.

     ” But I don't see anything.” She said looking at the branches around us.”

     ” Exactly. That's why I like it. It's secluded.” I pushed the branches aside and it led into a cave.

     ” Oh my Goodness.” her eyes widened.

    ” It's an actual cave. I've never seen one before. ”

     ” I found it when I was a kid. I was too scared to go inside because I thought they were snakes inside. Turns out I overcame my fears and I entered. It became my second home.  I'd run away from home and come here and my parents would nearly run mad looking for me.” I said as I took a trip down memory lane.

     It felt really good to be back here.

     ” Come on let's go." I said to her. I had some calls to make.

     ” But-But we just got here. I have to read everything you wrote on these walls."

    ” Uh no. Absolutely not .” I said a bit to fast.

     ” Now I definitely want to see it.” Kimberly said.

   ” No. Let's go. I have to make some calls and we have to be in the house by seven so you can call my mom.” I said hopefully that would make her agree.

    ”Fine. Let's go.” I said as I walked out first and started walking at fast pace but I stopped in my tracks when I realized I didn't know which way to go.

    ” Want me to lead the way.” I asked with a smirk on my face.

     ” Yes please.” She muttered.

  ” Well then my darling, follow me.”

Annnd that's it for this chapter. I'm having a serious case of writer's block. I honestly don't know where this story is going. I'm just going with the flow. Anyway see you in the next chapter. This is just a filler chapter.
