Sitting up in bed with the worst migraine of my life, I felt like I could barely move without being in pain. Feeling the nasty taste of bile rising in my throat, I ran to the bathroom I found lying in front of me. After getting that out of my system, I slowly stood up to wash my hands.
"You good there princessa?" I turn around in horror. Standing there all puffed out chested was Talia. I slowly make my way over to her, trying to not aggravate my already raging headache and try to hit her on the head.
She laughs and we make our way back to bed as I begin to piece things together from yesterday. I close my eyes as I put my head back on my luscious pillow and begin to try and softly think without too much pain.
Feeling something in front of my nose, I see T with an Advil pill and a bottle of water. I try to sit up and gladly taking both. I swallow the pill as I chug the rest of the water down. Laying back down, I seem to start to remember bits and pieces of what went down yesterday.
After a couple of minutes of complete and utter confusion mixed with pain, my headache seemed to dull and I began to regain my memory. Talia was still lying beside me and I was sure she was asleep.
Turns out, the moral of this story was that we had gotten shit faced drunk and were now laying in... I think Talia's room after we did some very stupid shit in the bar... Wait, was I... twerking on someone?!
"If you're thinking about asking whether or not you were twerking on someone, then the answer is yes. You were." I hear from beside me as I turn my head towards her wide-open eyes.
"B-but I-I wouldn't!" I stammer out.
She snickers and replies with, "Who knew you were such a daredevil when out of state, huh."
I lie there in disbelief.
After about another solid 30 minutes, we were called down for a company lunch. T and I stumbled our way down, trying our best not to trip over our feet before taking a seat at a table.
After finding the table where everyone was seated, I finally had a chance to look at my surroundings. This place was beautiful. Even inside the resort, they had palm trees growing inside pots as tall as the ceiling. This place even accommodated mini-shops in here. It was almost like a little underground city!
"You should close your mouth princess."
"Oh shut it, T. I've had enough of that princess crap." I snap.
"Oh, really princess. I don't remember being aware of that."
Well shit. This is what you get for being a moron Nat.
Finally turning around, I meet the steely yet amused grey eyes of Alexander.
"Uhhh I'm sorry for being so rude Alexander," I said, trying to look away from his eyes but still not seeming to have myself do so.
"Apology accepted sweet cheeks." He grinned back at me. I frowned, not even trying to hide the fact that I was pissed with him creating another endearing nickname for me.
"Please don't call me that." I pleaded.
He chuckled and just shook his head. Now you may be wondering where Talia went. Well right before Xander (Alexander) had come, she escaped to go and get us both some food. We both like the same food: bacon, pancakes, sausage yum...
"Are you done drooling over me sweet cheeks?" Alex asks as I'm snapped out of my daydream.
"I was not drooling over you. No need to be so self-absorbed." I retorted, not liking the way he assumed I was drooling over him. "For your information, I was actually drooling over Sam," I said with a smirk on my face, just waiting to see if I could get a rise out of him because I was just that petty.
His eyebrows furrowed as he squinted at me in annoyance.
"So, you're telling me that you were day-dreaming about that squirt?" he scoffs and points behind himself. Before I could go look at Sam, he blocked my view. "Instead of me?" He finishes.
"Pretty much," I say and wink. He shakes his head and begins to get up.
Watching Alexander leave to get up from his crouching position next to me and stride across the room was intimidating. It was a little bit sad and.. sexy?! No, no, no, no, no, no. I have a boyfriend and that will not change because of one fantasy, Nat!
T returned just in time for Alexander to announce that we were having a bonfire at the beach tonight, so we should get ready. He dared to even add that this should be a fun experience to get to know new people, not just boozing. For some reason, he said that while looking me dead in the eye.
What the hell did he know.....
