Chapter 10 ||Ashton||

When Cass came back from school she invited me over. Once I got there she couldn't stop talking about how great it felt to stand up to Erik. I was into the topic but her smile distracted me.

Hard to explain but I feel like I fall in love with her more everyday. I haven't told her I like her. I still decide to not mention it for a while.

She bought some ice cream and let me tell you, this is the part were I really wanted to kiss her. She set up her camera and I was recording her do her thing.

"Welcome to my cooking show! My name is Sir and today I will show you how to make The best ice cream dessert ever! That's the title." I giggled and continued recording.

"What you will need is ice cream. By ice cream I mean a lot of it. Different flavors are highly recommended. You will also need all kinds of toppings like fruits, sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream and whatever the hell you want!" Her fake mustache fell as she expanded her arms to emphasize the phrase. She put it back on afterwards.

As I filmed she grabbed a salad bowl and put different ice cream's inside. She later topped it with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, sprinkles and strawberries.

She made eye contact with me as she said "Now that you're done just eat it. By yourself if you want but I chose to devour it with this dork" pointing at me. I come in frame and she says giggling," I'm kidding" she gives me a peck on the cheek and I blush. I stop the recording and she bursts out laughing.

I laugh along with her and we actually decide to eat it. We sit on barstools near the kitchen table and eat the ice cream. And surprise surprise I tell her how I feel. I couldn't believe I did. This is how it went.

"So, I haven't actually seen you with a boyfriend. Have you had any?" I ask eating the ice cream off my spoon.

"Not recently."

"Oh."

"Yeah. Have you ever had a girlfriend?"

"I had one when I started high school but I broke up with her."

"Why?"

"I caught her kissing someone else on purpose."

"Oh yeah that sucks. Oh sorry."

"It's ok. I have feelings for this girl but she doesn't know."

"Ooo! Who is she?!" She asks eating a strawberry.

"She has brown eyes, long dark brown hair, and is a good friend of mine." I was really nervous saying that.

"Hmm, well I should probably tell you who I like." She says then I nod.

"He has the most adorable smile, I've known him for a good time and has the best giggle." I was so shocked. All my friends describe me like that.

"You know what?" she asks.

"What?" I say swallowing the lump in my throat.

"You should just kiss the girl, I mean it sounds like you've liked her for a while." She says grabbing another spoonful of ice cream.

I went for it. I took the spoon and put it down. I looked into her eyes and then her lips as I bit mine. I placed my hand on her cheek and kissed her. The kiss lasted a couple long seconds. I pull back and smiled.

"You're the boy with the adorable smile" she smirks.

"You're the girl I've been waiting to kiss." I smile.
