Book 1: The Voice and The Hammer (PJO fanfic)

Leo III

Oh gods did I ever have to pee. I was stuck in this random neighborhood full of run down houses and dimly lit streets. Sure, monsters where scary, but wandering a creepy neighborhood alone was not on my to do list. Oh where were Jason and Piper? All we wanted was to get a movie!

I knew the neighbourhood pretty well. It wasn't that far from Camp. Plus, Marina Peony lived somewhere along the street, everyone knew that.

"Let me at least lock the door!" Finn whisper shouted at me as she fumbled for her keys.

"Im just saying! If you wanna go, we gotta go now. And we have to find Piper and Jason first."

"Sheesh, sorry." Finn dropped her keys. "Now you have me all excited. Ive always wanted to meet-"

"Piper! Jason!" Leo shouted. He Jumped down from the patio step and onto the lawn to greet the new arrivals.

"Shut up, Leo. It's like 2:00." Piper said.

"I got the movie you wanted." Said Jason holding a bag of unpopped popcorn, three DVDs, a drink, and a pleased look on his face.

"We we also got popcorn, Leo can you-." Piper's gaze landed on Finn. 

Finn looked up at Piper and slowly bent down to get her keys off the ground.

"Finley Peony?" Piper asked, looking at Jason for support on her assumption.

"Yes, thats me! Just, getting my keys." Finn locked the door, finally, and came over to me. "Nice to meet you guys."

Jason popped the straw of the drink out of his mouth and spat. "Oh THATS who were talking about! You're Marina's sister right?"

Piper elbowed Jason in the gut. "What he means is, are you coming with us? Marina hasn't seen you in a while, Im sure you'll want to see her too." 

"Absolutely."
