Ha! Oh she was so out of his league. I smirked as I watched Leo stare at Finn with contentment in his eyes. She was beautiful, even in her pajamas. Finn had the most vibrant hair I had ever seen in my life, along with a bright orange onesie with the arms tied around her waist.
Why don't we have these orange onesies at camp? It would be a lot more comfortable than our T-shirts.
We had left our Pegasus in near the edge of the forest too keep them out of site. Loe and Jason insisted on their own leaving me with one horse and two passengers. I sat Finn in front of me so I could keep her sitting up straight. I watched as her hair flew past her face and across my shoulders. Finn's hair created the image of fire as the red and orange layers lit up in the moonlight. I looked bedside me to see Jason fast asleep, snoring in his Pegasus's ear. Since both of the boys were... preoccupied, it was my job to look for camp. I spotted it in the corner of my eye. Everyone was gathered around the campfire. My face lit up with the thought of home, well, camp home.
I was excited to go back and sleep, It had been a busy day. But I knew my priorities and decided to get Finn to the infirmary as soon as possible.
Once we had landed, I left the boys with the pegasus and took Finn to the camp hospital myself. Will Solace came through the infirmary tent doors as we laid Finn down on the bed.
He took one look at her and then at me. "Who's this, New?" He asked, pulling out various doctors equipment.
"Will, this is Finn."
"Eh, Finley Peony? Ive heard Marina talk about her every so often."
Will stayed silent while I explained our experience in the woods.
"Well, she blacked out, thats an easy fix." Will slipped a small vile of blue liquid through Finn's lips and her bright green eyes shot open. She sat up in the bed and began to hyperventilate.
"Finn, Finn!" Will shouted, getting her to calm down. She reached for my hand. "Piper." Finn struggled to speak.
"What?"
"Marina! I- I want to see Marina."
