I breathed in the fresh air, the sweet smell of earth engulfed me as I closed my eyes to let in the sunshine. I wanted to go everywhere at once but I decided to schedule myself. I'll start by the lake!

I wandered down a twisty path of tree root stairs and pushed the branches out of my way to reveal the dock.

The sun shone bright across the glittering water. I pushed my bangs out of my face and stared out onto the still waters. Across the lake were two campers, one blonde and the other trying desperately to hide his emotions for this girl. I found myself staring at them, then I snapped out of it and decided to leave them alone. I walked into the vast, green forest. I passed a tree with various initials and hearts carved into it. The majority, with Marina's name.

I stopped to read them as a rope ensnared itself around my ankle. Next thing I knew I was dangling by one foot upside down from a tree! I was reaching desperately for anything that would help me out of this rope. I started to yell for help. Just then a figure in swim shorts emerged from the water and came running down the dock.

"Hello? Hello! Oh my gods! Here let me help you."

The boy stood tall, yet probably only a little bit taller than me. His black hair was covering his forehead and almost reaching his green eyes.

"I heard you you yelling from across the lake." The boy pulled out a pen from his pocket and uncapped it. I blinked and the pen had turned into a beautiful celestial bronze sword.(I learned thats what most demigod weapons are made of from a Hephaestus kid chatting away with an unimpressed Hermes daughter) He cut me down and I fell to the ground on my back. He looked up and cursed.

"Stolls."

"What?" I questioned him.

"Nothing."

We stood there awkwardly until I broke the silence.

"How did you get here so fast?"

"Oh- Uh, I was- Er... Percy Jackson son of Poseidon. Pleased to meet you. Judging by the fact you didn't know who the Stolls were, i'm assuming you're new?" He gave me a toothy grin and I nodded.

"Finley Peony, daughter of Apollo."

"Peony... Oh Marina! So, an Apollo kid eh?" Percy looked at me.

"Yeah nothing special. Sister got all the powers. I got all the rest of it."

Percy held out his arm and revealed a scabbed over cut near his wrist. "Don't lie to me. All Apollo kids have some talent. Something they're given. Here I got this during capture the flag few days ago. Heal me."

"What? I can't!"

"Come on! All Apollo kids can heal! I think... Just try it."

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, then held his hand. I waited and listened. Then I was overcome by a series of words, they made no sense, but I opened my mouth and spoke.

"Ach patéra a parapáno i therapéfsi to ónomá sou." There was a long pause. I opened my eyes and moved my hands. The cut was gone and Percy smiled.
