Jason and I figured the girls would take forever, so we also took our sweet time.

I was so excited to see them in their dresses... mostly Finn though.

It took us less than ten minutes to pick out a suit and tie and we were in and out of the store in fifteen minutes! So much for taking our sweet time! However, to our great surprise, we got back to the hotel room and Percy and the girls were already there, watching some cheesy Korean soap opera. Not noticing our arrival, Jason knocked on the wall and all three spun around.

"Oh good! The event starts in an hour, let's get it going!" Piper exclaimed.

"That was quick." Jason said.

"What, were you expecting us to take longer?" Piper sounded slightly offended.

Jason and I went to our side of the room. Once again, Jason and I were done getting out suits on and hair done in about fifteen minutes. We came into the living room and Percy snapped.

"Good stuff, my dudes." He said.

Jason, Percy and I watched three episodes of SpongeBob Squarepants before they finally came out to the living room portion of the hotel room.

Well, It's about dang t-" Jason began and stopped as soon as he saw the two of them.

Percy started clapping and whistling. "Nice work ladies." He said, laughing himself off the couch.

My jaw dropped and I assumed Jason's did too. They look like goddesses! More beautiful than Aphrodite herself.

Jason stood immediately and took Piper's arm, still wide-eyed at his gorgeous girlfriend. Finn smiled boldly as I took her arm.

"If anyone else so much as looks at you, I want you to shoot them in the head with an arrow." I said, following Jason, who still could not keep his eyes off of Piper.

"Does that rule apply to you?" She teased.

"Please no." I laughed as I realized my flirtations had failed miserably.

We pushed the doors to the hotel ballroom open. The walls were covered in items to be auctioned off and sold. Each table bordering the massive room had ancients works, knives, bows, arrows you name it! There was a stage to our left with a classy jazz band, and to the right, two giant windows and doors leading to a balcony looking over Vancouver.

"Alright remember we are here to look for a weapon that glows in the dark. Be sure to not draw attention to yourselves, blend in. Jason and I will ask around. Finn and Leo, work on cutting the lights. We can't touch any of this stuff so it's our best bet on finding this thing. If you see anything, come and find us." And with that, they disappeared into the crowd.

Without really thinking, I grabbed Finn's hand and lead her into the crowd.

"Do you see a power box anywhere?" I asked.

"No." She said, grabbing my hand tighter. I felt my face flush and tried to shake it off. "But I'm almost one-hundred percent sure it's going to be behind the stage."

"Good call." I said, trying not to sound flustered. We ran past groups of people as we made our way backstage, a few of the people giving us confused looks.

The wings were pitch dark and all I could hear was Finn stumbling around looking for the power box. By this time, she had let go of my hand.

"Found it!" She whisper-yelled, followed by the loud bang of a metallic lever being pulled and the power shutting down.

"Nice. Let's give Piper and Jason a few minutes to look.

Finn and I hid from security and sat in silence as we waited. We could clearly hear shouting coming from the ballroom as confused guests began making their way for the emergency exits and worried artifact handlers began rushing to keep things from being stolen.

After about three minutes. I reached for the lever and pushed it back up. The sound of electricity rushing through the massive room filled the air and I could hear people coming back in. A musician from the Jazz band went up on stage and apologized for the technical difficulties. Soon, the band was playing again.

Finn and I found our way back to the ballroom and began searching for Jason and Piper.

All of a sudden, Finn grabbed my hand again. I turned to look at her when she pulled my ear to her mouth and whispered. "Dance with me."

Under any other circumstance, I would have died on the spot. But her tone was wrong, she was worried. Finley dragging me onto the dance floor which was filled with older couples waltzing to a tune I had never heard. She placed her arms around my neck, I hesitated a moment, and then put my hands on her waist.

She leaned in close again to tell me something. "Don't look now, but there's a woman who's been watching us."
