My eyes felt heavy as I blinked them open. A flash of light temporarily blinded me and I saw tiny spots begin to dance across my vision.
Piper's face was hovering above me. She was wearing heavy body armor and was holding a red helmet, I saw a small gash, bleeding on her left shoulder.
"Wa- what happened?" I sat up but the spots came back and Piper lay me back down.
"Oh uh, Leo scared you and you fell out of a tree. So we stuck you in the infirmary." She said, blushing hard. I stared at her cut. "Oh yeah, just got out of training." She said taking a tissue and wiping the blood from her arm.
The room went silent for a while. I felt very embarrassed. I can't believe I fell out of a tree. I tried to move my legs.
"Don't move." Piper advised. "You popped your leg out of place. Will put it back, but he says it'll need some time to heal."
"Where's Finn and Leo?"
"I don't know last time I saw him he was freaking out, thinking last night was a dream."
"I think we should go find them." Piper said pulling up a wheelchair. It was black and blue, like a bruise. I looked up at Piper, hoping this was a joke. "Do you want to find them or not?" Piper chuckled as she helped me onto the wheelchair. I swear the cushions were filled with dead bugs. "Where too?" Piper pushed me out of the infirmary.
"Hephaestus cabin. Leo is probably fiddling with something."
Piper twisted and turned around the trees and over their roots. The rocks were not helping me to stay on this wheelchair.
We finally reached the large cabin. The smokestack was emitting smoke, which meant someone had to be in there. Piper left me in front of the doorway and knocked twice.
"Piper, Jason what are you doing?" Leo opened the door. His hands were charred and his hair was sticking up. He lifted his goggles which were laced with a thick layer of black debris.
"Oh Jason, you're looking better."
I smiled. "Yea, thanks a lot. What are you doing in there anyways?" I asked. Leo chuckled.
"I'm glad you asked!" He pulled out a small pipe, delicate and intricate with a silver chain to match. "Just finished!"
Piper raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"Who is that for?" I teased, I knew exactly who it was for. Her initials were carved on the side. Plus, Leo was blushing like a girl on Valentine's Day.
"Oh, I- I was going to give this to Finn. I thought she would need a weapon, now that she knows she's a half blood." Leo looked down at his hands.
"Well we were just gonna go look for her. Want to come?" Piper said excitedly. Leo smiled and placed the pipe in his shirt pocket. Piper turned me around and went out past the cabins and out onto the fields.
"Where do you think she could be?" I looked at Leo who was fidgeting. Piper looked up and around.
Out of the trees emerged three people laughing. It was Finn! She was in the middle of the the other two. She was with Percy! I turned to face Leo and Piper but they were already halfway across the field.
