the christmas party (r)

i was on my moms laptop and really bored so i decided to log in and rewrite this stuff because its just so bad.

(Tsukishima's POV through the whole story)

its christmas. arguably one of the worst and my least favourite times of the year. before you ask my favourite is halloween. why are you being such a grump? why do you hate christmas? its not christmas itself, i love getting presents. but i don't like all the carlos and how cold it is outside. i dont like christmas shopping and i don't like the smells it emits. im not a fan of sweet things. so hot chocolate and gingerbread smell bad to me. with that being said. today is karasunos infamous "christmas party because tsukishima doesn't like it so were going to throw one and force him to come." suags words not mine. hinata decided to be a little shit and tell suga that he overheard my conversation with tadashi that i dont like christmas. thus, me having to get up out of bed at 9am on a saturday so we can have a christmas party at daichis house.

the actual party starts at 12 but me and tadashi are going out early to look at christmas lights and buy presents. if it was just presents i would have said no. but, tadashi reccomended we go look at the lights. tadashi has this adorable look in his eyes when we go look at the lights so i agreed to go. before you ask, why are you looking at the lights in the morning? for some reason the sun doesnt show until around 11, so its still dark out and the lights are visible.

i arrive at tadashis house and knock on his door. his mom peek opens the door.

"why hello, kei. you must be here for tadashi? he told be about your christmas party and your plan to look at the lights. that must be so fun! you know when i was little....." his mom blabbers on. he gets his talkative state from his mom. you could be trapped with her for hours. luckily, tadashi arrives after a bit.

"mom, please, youre gonna talk his ear off!" tadashi says as he puts on his boot and wraps his scarf. he has a plate of christmas cookies wrapped in his hand. they were very cutely frosted. tadashi noticed me looking at his plate and sighed sarcastically.

"i made sure some of them werent as sweet for you, they are the ones with no frosting" he walks out of the door and waves goodbye to his mom.

"lets go! i want to see the lights before the sun comes out!" he pulls my arm and we head off to town.

once we made it to town, i realized i hadn't brought anything to the christmas party. tadashi ran up to the big christmas tree in the middle of town and started to take some pictures.

"sorry to ruin your fun but ive realized i forgot to bring something for the party" he looks back at me and giggled.

"you forgot? i was certain you didnt bring anything on purpose," he points over to a small shop "try there, they sell some cute christmas decorations." i nodded and headed off. tadashi went back to taking pictures.

i had bought a plushie. a small one. it was an elf on the shelf plushie, it looked like him but in a chibi anime form. it will suffice. tadashi came up to me and took my plushie, giving it a few squeezes.

"cute," he gave it back "though i dont think its something you should bring to a christmas party." he said.

"they better be glad i even brought anything"

tadashi sighed and took my hand. we walked around for an hour or so till it was time to go to the party.

once we arrived i spotted kageyma and hinata racing to see who could get to the door first. it was definetly a tie but they still bickered over it. soon enough daichi had opened the door. suga and asahi were already inside. thank god. any longer and i would have been an ice sculpture.
