my parents have always told me that i had no time to waste right now i have to work and work and work and work. to get into college if i ever want to do anything with my life. they said i'd have all the time to waste and to be free when i'm old.
what my parents don't know, is this is all the time we have right now. this is our childhood and soon it will flash so fast before our eyes, and when we are old we will reminisce on those times, begging to go back. when we are old, we tend to forget and when we forget the imagination, slowly ceases to trickle and when that happens, we then finally and truly and utterly realize that we are no longer kids children or even teenagers- and that all the time we should've used doing what we wanted, embracing the magic that there is- was spent doing what our parents wanted.
