The Wrongest Right

CHAPTER 7

*Previously on the Wrongest right (Chapter 6)*

Jackson took out the suitcase under Gong Yoo's bed and checked inside. Sure enough, there was a red kimono stuffed there.

"The killer is mocking me. Good. His first mistake. And as the night must follow the day.....Excuse me Miss." They reached Jennie's room and Gong Yoo took out her blanket lying on her bed and unfolded it revealing the floor manager's uniform.

"It's not mine. Just told you about the other floor manager, didn't I? Why would I hide it in my room."

"You would not which makes your room the ideal place to hide it." Jackson, Gong Yoo and Jennie came out of the room and Gong Yoo kept the uniform close to him.

"I will be going now, Mr Detective. Don't disturb me again."

"Wait, Miss Kim." Gong Yoo called out. "Madam I saw you blinking your tears away in the lounge. So why do you always pretend that you are a cold person and you're always alright and strong?"

Jennie turned towards him and hesitated to speak looking at the floor. Then she looked up at him. "I guess, because.........A princess doesn't cry."

"Whoa, that was deep," said Jackson munching some popcorn and making Gong Yoo jump due to the sudden proximity. 

"Why are you always eating?" Jackson made a peace sign, "Food is life."

"Anyways, what is this weird odour that the uniform is emitting?" 

Gong Yoo sniffed the uniform cautiously, "Bourbon. Let's go to Namjoon's room." 

"But why?" 

"When we were interrogating him, didn't you notice that he kept sipping Bourbon whiskey?" 

"Oh, right. I actually just thought he was drinking pee."

 "Are you seriously kidding me right now?" 

"Well, excuse me for having the logic that they have the same colour."

They both ran to Namjoon's room and searched for his folders. They found some titled "Miscellaneous" and opened it revealing stacks of dollar notes. "There you go..500, 1000, 5000, 20000 dollars in total. Namjoon was stealing from Daniel." And then they heard a clattering noise.

They saw that Namjoon had broken a vase and was trying to escape using the emergency stairs since they had temporarily disabled the elevator for the guests. Jackson fiddled with his tablet and enabled it again. "Gong Yoo, you try to subdue him by going down the stairs. I'll take the elevator to the lower floors and stop him from there."

Gong Yoo rushed down the stairs, seeing Namjoon a flight of stairs below him, "Mr Kim stop. Don't try to do anything and stay at your place. Namjoon paid no heed and continued climbing the stairs down where he was stopped by Jackson. He panicked and tried to rush up the stairs only to meet Gong Yoo. He was cornered on both sides.

"I didn't do it, okay?," Namjoon shouted once Jackson and Gong Yoo took him to the common lounge after he tried to escape. Gong Yoo was pacing around the room extremely furious and agitated while Jackson was slurping his milkshake and enjoying an episode of 'The Gossip Girls.'

"Of course you did it. You stole from him. You hated Kang Daniel. You thought you would be caught so you murdered him!"

"I didn't do it," Namjoon repeated frustratedly
