"Because I realise now that this was never just a simple murder. All this extensive planning to kill Kang Daniel, or should we even use that fake name, was not done for some bitterness in business or anything. It was done for vengeance, to avenge a lost soul."
"This was never a beachside puzzle Jackson. I know the dead man Kang Daniel's real name, Byun Baekhyun."
"So the murder is related to the Kim family tragedy," Jackson turned to him shocked and at a loss for words.
"The story shook the world. Two years ago, the renowned pilot, Colonel Kim Junmyeon and his wife Ji-eun woke to find their only child Su-an taken from her crib as she slept and a ransom note left behind. Desperate, the Kims paid the ransom but soon after Su-an was found murdered by Daniel who was Baekhyun. Kim Ji-eun was pregnant with another child when she received the news. The shock sent her into premature labour. Neither she or her baby survived. The maid Jeon Somi who worked in their house was accused of this crime. She committed suicide."
"How do you know all this Gong Yoo?"
"Because Kim Junmyeon told me so himself. He wrote to me to ask me for my help. By the time I received the letter, it was too late. He was found dead of a gunshot wound, self inflicted."
Gong Yoo sighed heavily looking at the note on the burner. "The note when completed says, 'Kim Su-an's blood is on your hands. You will die.' Indeed he did."
And somewhere in his mind, Gong Yoo could visualise a happy family of three playing in the nursery of an old fashioned house. Those memories would honestly remain forever young and one in a million.

An extremely beautiful and gentle woman who treats everyone kindly. She is the daughter of Kim Taeyeon, cousin of Kim Jennie, sister of Kim Jisoo, wife of Kim Junmyeon/Suho and mother of Kim Su-an. Ji-eun loves all her family and friends and is diehard loyal to them. She is pregnant at the time Su-an was kidnapped and killed. The shock of the news sent her into premature labour which killed both her and her unborn child.
