As I walked gently down the stair case clutching a box to my chest, I heard Scarlett pleading to her mom while they packed another box in the kitchen.
"I still don't know why we have to move, mom!!" Scarlett complained.
"Honey, Marcus got a promotion and it requires us moving to California. It's a huge adjustment but I bet youle make twice the number of friends you have here in Canada." Sarah assured Scarlett.
"I love it here in Canada, mom!!!..." she wined and pleaded like a kid.
Of course the main reason we're moving is for my comfort. Since my dad knew how much moving would mean to me, he worked twice as hard to qualify for the promotion at his job and was successful. Thank God he did, because Scarlett would have figured. And that would mean, living in the worst part of hell all my life.

The moist wind gently swept through my loosed hair as I drove to the air port. Well this is the part that sucks for a family with 3 cars. My step sister Scarlette had one for herself and my dad and step mom shared another one. We drove behind each other for a 3 hour journey with my dad in the lead.

As I parked my car in our new drive way, I stared at the two story concrete structure painted in a mild shade of pink. It had a well designed, spacious front porch attached, which added to it's beauty. Across the left side of the house showed indication of a well kept back yard with vibrant colored petals of flowers that surrounded it, causing the house to seem way more expensive than it actually is, and that of course is the house we're moving into and will be staying at for as long as I can think about. Well, until I get marry... Who am I kidding? I want to stay single all my life!

Unpacking was the most tiring activity after a long trip.
Lying on my belly, feet in a 90° position in the air from my bed, i unlocked my phone.
Wow! 35 messages from 👭Bestfriend Chrissy♥, and 20 missed calls too.
What was I expecting? She's my bestie and I've had my phone turned off since the incident, knowing I couldn't talk to her about it. She's always so emotional and worries alot. God knows what swept through her mind not hearing from me. I have no idea how to tell her that I've moved permanently to another country. I'm in a really tensed situation.*phone rings*
Chrissy: "Oh thank God you answered! Where are you?? What's going on??! I haven't seen you at school!! I miss you!! Why was your phone off??...."
Me: "Calm down baby girl. There's alot going on. I don't know how to say them to you...."
Chrissy: "Well you better figure it out!!" I felt the worry in her voice."
Me: "Chrissy. I'm in California!" I blurted out and gritted my teeth.
Chrissy: "Why didn't you tell me you were going on a vacation? When are you coming back?" She inquired calmly.
Me: "Chris... I'm not ever coming back.. I'm so sorry." My voice weakened. Knowing how those words have hit her, I felt tears trickling down my cheeks.
Me: "Chrissy are you there?"
Chrissy: "Yes... yes I'll be here, without you forever!!" She bearly managed to speak, I could hear her sniffer.
"Honey, can you come down please!" My step mom yelled at me from the kitchen.
"Just a second!.." I called back.
Me: "chris, I'll talk to you later. I love you and you will always be my Bestfriend. I promise I will explain to you why I had to do this. I know you're mad at me but that's okay. I'm so sorry, I will miss you dearly. But I will Skype all the time and constantly bomb your phone with messages. Okay boo boo?" I tried to cheer her up. But all she said was, "yeah, sure. Love you too." And with a sniff she ended the call.. Damn, I feel like crap!
