'Two weeks later'
My step mom shifts have changed from day to night, she's a nurse. And as for my dad, he has plenty stuff to get done before some international men inspects his work place tomorrow so his boss allowed them to work late night.
My dad had asked Tyler to sleep over since he didn't feel safe leaving a house with three girls to be protected only by one male.
We had great plans for an awesome night. Since Scarlett is single, Chrissy and I decided to not cling to our boyfriend tonight.
"Tyler's here!" Shouted Scarlett from the kitchen.
"I'll be right down!" I Shouted.
"Hey!" Said Tyler to Scarlett.
"Kate would be down in a minute" she replied.
*Door bell rang*
"That must be the pizza guy!" Scarlett exclaimed
She paid him and Tyler helped her bring the two boxes of pizza at the dining table.
"Thank you." She said warmly.
"Hey mehn!" James called out.
"Good bro?" Asked Tyler, manly.
"Yeah. You?" He replied
"Always!" Said Tyler
"Hey!" Chrissy called out As I walked gently down the stairs.
"Hi" said Tyler with a genuine smile.
"There's my girl!" Said Tyler smirking at me.
I smiled weakly trying to stick to the plan Chrissy and I made.
"So! What movie are we watching tonight?" I asked anxiously
"How about, 'The Kissing Booth, part 2' " Scarlett suggested.
"Great! we can watch it on Netflix from my computer." Added Chrissy.
"Well whatever you girls want." James stated. Tyler looked at him, and they both shook their heads mockingly.
After watching two movies on Netflix, we decided to play a game of "truth".
We started by letting Chrissy spin the bottle.
It pointed towards Scarlett and James was required to ask a question.
"Um, uhh. Scarlett. Have you ever cheated on a guy before?" Asked James seriously.
What a dumb question, I thought.
"No!" She exclaimed without any sort of emotion.
We all looked at her surprised. So she added. "You can't cheat if you were never really in love with the person. After my first real boyfriend, I started hooking up and dumping guys like tissue."
James looked at her puzzled, but that actually sounded like the Scarlett from Canada.
The bottle then pointed towards me, and Chrissy had to ask me a question.
"Um, uhh. Were you mad when you found out I'm dating your child hood crush?"
Tyler looked at me shocked.
"No! I was happy. I got over James the first day I saw Tyler."
That made Tyler smiled and I was relieved.
After a few more spins we decided to tell scary stories and had pizza late in the night. Around 2 am, we all got tired and fell asleep.

I woke with the need to use the bathroom, probably due to the amount of juice I drank a few hours ago. As I walked quietly down the stairs, trying not to wake anyone, I heard whispers from the kitchen.
I no longer headed to the bathroom, instead, I went towards the kitchen. I saw Scarlette looking at James as if she wanted to stick a knife into his back.
"Is everything okay?" I asked, slightly startling them.
"Yes, I came to get some water and James needed to use the bathroom." Replied Scarlett coldly.
With the mention of 'bathroom' I remembered why I actually woke, so left saying "Well I actually need to use the bathroom myself so I'm gona go."
The both went separate ways with my departure.
