While brushing my hair, I admired my reflection in the mirror. What used to be a broken girl, a nobody, is now the most valuable thing to someone else, Tyler, I was the one girl he loved the most. And that gave me a reason to live. The part of me that wanted to die so bad, is now replaced by a confident girl with a strong vision towards her future. Since Tyler became part of my life, I changed the way I see, think and feel. It was the best change I've made in all my years on this earth...
"Hey pumpkin! You're ready?" Asked Chrissy, Scaning my body with her pretty little eyes. "You really look great in Jeans." She added.
With a smile I replied, "Yes I'm ready and thank you! You look gorgeous in that dress as well."
"Gracias mi amór" she replied.
* Door bell rang. *
"That must be Tyler. He's a fast dresser." I stated.
"I'll get it!" My step mom called out from the kitchen.
"Hi Mrs Spensor. Nice to meet you again." Said Tyler formly.
"Awe, likewise dear. And please call me Sarah, Mrs Spensor makes me feel so old." She chuckled
Tyler smiled. "Will do."
"Hi there young man!" My dad called out.
"Hi sir. Um, I've been wanting to seek your permission as well as um, Sarah's, for something but I haven't gotten the chance to do so as yet." Said Tyler formly.
"Okay. Let's hear it." My dad replied calmly.
"Um, there's this cabin my dad built in the woods. He said I can take my friends there to chill. I went once with my family but we never got a chance to go again since my parents are always busy working, I was wondering if Kate and I could go for the weekend. I haven't told her about it yet, wanted to hear from you guys first." He explained with hope.
"Sounds good to me!" My step mom said, smiling.
"Yes, I suppose it's okay, that's if she wants to go, which I'm pretty sure of." My dad replied calmly.
"Oh here she comes." My dad said looking in my direction.
"Is everything alright." I asked confused.
"Yes, Tyler wanted to ask us something." Dad replied.
My eyes got wild.
"Um, I was wondering if you and I could spend the weekend together at a cabin my dad built in the woods." Tyler said to me with hope.
I smiled, "Yes I would love that."
"Great! Because I got your parents permission." He said happily.
"Hi!" Called out Scarlett from the stairs. "Are you guys ready to go shopping?" She asked.
"Yep!" Chrissy exclaimed. She absolutely loves shopping. I actually hated it at first, but now I don't.
The mall was just a short drive into town. We spent hours trying on different outfits which made the boys tired. So we sent them to grab a snack while us 3 girls continued to seek for the best clothing in the store.
With our hands filled with shopping bags, Tyler came to pick us up. They already picked out few clothing earlier."Kate, um. We will have to buy some stuff for our weekend at the cabin." Said Tyler glancing at me while driving.
"Oh yes." I replied softly.
"Well can you two love birds drop us off at the restaurant, I'm starving! You can go on with your shopping then pick us up." Ordered Scarlett nicely.
"That's a good idea." Agreed Chrissy.
And with that, Tyler dropped them at the famous restaurant in town.
"So it's me and my girl now." Said Tyler winking at me.
I smiled and looked out the window, allowing the cool breeze to sweep through my hair as he drove mildly to the grocery store.

I grabbed Cereal and milk. He better not expect me to cook!
As we walked down the grocery store isle, I saw him placing celery and some other stuff that requires cooking into the trolley. I looked at him strangely. And just as if he's able to read my mind he smile and said,
"You don't have to worry about cooking, I will""You know how to cook!?" I exclaimed.
He chuckled, "I actually helped prepare dinner the first night your family came over."
"Wow!" I exclaimed in shock "that meal was very tasty!" I complimented
"Thank you baby. I want this weekend to be the most relaxing one for you. It's just a start to how I'll make you comfortable in the future." He said softly.
I swear he's the best!
"I'm such a lucky girl." I replied, my eyes sparkling with contentment.
"No, I'm actually the lucky guy!" He argued.
"Well I guess we both are lucky." I said smiling.
I led him to my favorite part in any grocery store, the junk food section! Yes I'm 16, but I can literally live on junk food. I filled the trolley with big bags of lays, ruffles, zoomers and Pringles. He just smiled at my childishness, a part of me that will never fade.
He insisted on paying the bill and with that, bought me a burger and a milkshake shake as we drove to pick up Scarlett and my bestie with her boyfriend from the restaurant.
