Chapter 21: 'Cathy's Birthday!'

I awoke by the sudden vibrant rays of light that burned through my eye lids which occured due to Chrissy's inconsiderate act of pulling my bedroom curtains.

"Wake up sleepy head!" She called out, harshly removing the pillow under my head.

"Ouchh!" I moaned. "It's 6 am! I need more sleep!" I mumbled.

"Have you forgotten it's your little sister-in-law's-birthday! And we offered to help them prepare for her party at 1 pm!" She said attentively.

"Oh shoot! We have to be there at 7!" I exclaimed

"Yeahh. You remember." She teased, throwing a pillow at me, then commanded, "Get dressed! I'll go wake the others"

I moaned and roll off my bed too tired to stand on my feet. I really should stop staying up late in the night with Chrissy. She's a night owl! Losing sleep does not affect her at all.
I heard Scarlett moaned at Chrissy's wake up call. That made me smile.

After 30 minuets the four of us was up and ready to go. We sat quickly having breakfast for another 15 minutes since Tyler's home was just a five minute walk from mine.

"You're here!" Exclaimed Cathy anxiously. "Come in!" She offered. Tip toeing to reach the door nob.

I lifted her off the ground and gave her a big kiss on her soft chubby cheeks. "Happy birthday little love!" I wished her.

She smiled and bury her head in my chest, "Thank you!"  She replied in cheer.

"I have your present, but I'll give it to you at the party." I winked at her, increasing her excitement.

Scarlett and Chrissy tickled her wishing her a happy birthday as well. As for James, he firmly held her in his arms and gave her a dairy chocolate. "Happy birthday chubs. I have something else for you as well. But I'll give it to you later." He said wriggling his eye brows which made her giggle.

I had no idea he was carrying a chocolate in his pocket. I noticed how easy it was for Cathy and him to get along, he's also a kid lover, which is really cute to watch.

"Good morning angel." Said Tyler kissing my forehead. "Hey guys" He called out to the others behind me.

"Hey everyone, come on in! We can start when you guys are ready. Here's some pizza and milkshakes. So eat up, we have alot of things to get done." Said Lenora, Tyler's mom.

"Great!" We all exclaimed.

Cathy looked up at me with a smile. "Will you dress me when it's time?"

"Of course sweetheart. Any thing for the birthday girl." I winked at her.

Lenora looked at me and said warmly "That little girl adores you, she talks about you all the time! I know Tyler enjoys it." Smiling.

I smiled and replied "Well, I absolutely love her too!" I reached down and rubbed her chubby cheeks.

It took us 4 hours to set the place for the party which includes preparing meals. That left us 1 hour to get dressed. Since Cathy wanted me to dress her, I returned earlier.

"Wow! You look so damn hot, and gorgeous my girl." Tyler complimented as I let myself in.

"Thanks my guy." I replied smiling. "You look super hot yourself, may have to tie a leash on you before another girl steals you." I added.

"You've already hooked my heart, naturally pulling me wherever you go. No body can ever replace you!" He assured me with a kiss to my forehead.

"Ewwww!" Cathy wined, she saw that.

We both laughed, "Hey there sweetheart, ready to look like an official princess?" I asked, smiling at her.

"Yes! I Wana look as pretty as you!" She exclaimed.

"Awe, you're prettier than me." I assured her, touching her cute dimples. "I always wanted dimples." I added.

"You're still pretty without them." She Said convincingly.

I smiled and held her hand as she led me to her room. Of course Tyler tug along.

"Your room is very nice!" I complimented.

"Thank you! My daddy made it!" She replied, smiling.

As I did the final touches to her hair, I looked over to Tyler staring at me in an admirable way.

"What?" I inquired, smiling.

"You're just so special. I can't wait for my kids to call you mommy." He said softly.

"Awe. I love you!" I replied, my eyes sparkling.

"You're pregnant!?" Cathy shouted.

I chuckled, "No love, he meant when I'm as big as your mommy, we will have a baby."

"Oh." She replied with uncertainty. "I want to play with the baby when it comes. I'll share all my toys with the baby..!" She said excitedly, moving her hands as she spoke. It surely was an adorable sight.

"Hey sweeties! Is my little girl ready?" Inquired Lenora standing outside the bedroom door.

"Yes mommy! Come see how pretty Kate made me look!" Exclaimed Cathy anxiously.

And with that, Lenora came smiling and led her downstairs since a few of her friends had arrived.

As I was about to leave Cathy's bedroom, Tyler grabbed at my waist.
"You've been tempting me all this time to kiss that lipstick off your soft sweet lips." He said with intensity. His mint scented breath against my ear resulting in a shiver down my spine.

"Cover girl make up is not that easy to be removed." I replied softly.

"It will once I'm done with them." He leaned in and did just as he wanted, but I made him stop after a few minutes.

"We have to go honey. Cathy will be waiting." I explained.

He groaned and tug along like a kid.

Cathy's Birthday was the best kid party I've been to. Actually, it was my first. I was pleased by her reaction to the necklace and doll set I've given her. James bought her a huge teddy bear and so did Tyler with lots of chocolate. Scarlett gave her a pretty dress and Chrissy presented her the most beautiful shoe I've seen for a kid along with a matching purse filled with cash.

Cathy wanted us to spend the night, so we did. Tyler's house is way more fun than mine, we found all crazy stuff to do among us 6. Actually, Cathy made us laugh most of time, that was until she fell asleep around midnight. Chrissy and James left for bed an hour after, leaving Scarlett with myself and Tyler. She excused her self to another bedroom after long hours of laughter among us 3.
Then it was down to Tyler and I who refused to let me sleep. We kissed for approximately 30 minutes then stopped since I wouldn't let him go further. Not because I didn't want him to, but due to the fact I was tired and wanted our first time to be the best. I felt the hot skin of his abs pressed against my back as he gently circled his thumbs in my bra, the warm touch of his hip against the back of my thighs, and his soft breathing, a melody to my ear. I surely slept well that night!
