Part 26 | Glass Slippers

Afternoon at the wedding..

Reporter: We are now here at Pines View to witness the wedding of International Star Jennie Kim with the Top Entertainment Boss and Prominent Business woman Lalisa Manoban. Let's take a look of the set-up. We're really grateful that they allowed us as the first one to see the set-up. As you can see here, the aisle is so pleasing in the eyes. Knowing Jennie Kim's taste, we really can say that this is her wedding.

The place is surrounded with tall pine trees and the venue itself is wrapped with green, white, brown, and cream colors. There are transparent chairs for the guest. The aisle is covered with cream carpet and white roses supported with monstera in different sizes. Simple as it is.

I actually can't stop sweating the moment I opened my eyes this morning and realized it's my wedding day. The fact that I will be married to my first love gives me butterflies in my stomach. I sound like a teenager, but fuck, it's still happening. Just imagining Lisa waiting for me there later makes my heart beat so loud.

We're in my room at Pines View waiting for Rosé, my maid of honor, to bring me my wedding shoes. I actually haven't seen it yet. She said, it's her surprise gift for me and the design is with Lisa's approval already. My hair and make-up is already done. I just want a lighter look for my wedding so i have a ribbon romance hairstyle with pinned small white rose with dried green tiny flowers at the back that serves like a hair tie. Lisa made sure that all the flowers were prepared well and as much as possible, we chose those without irritating pollens. You know, I don't want to keep sneezing as I walk down the aisle later.

My wedding dress is a Monique Lhuillier lacy Orilla. The moment I got the photo from Monique, I showed it to Lisa during our dinner three weeks ago and she instantly fucked me in our dining table. So.

Jisoo helped me wear my dress. I am really thankful to this girl for sticking with me through good and bad times of my career and my life as a whole.

Finally, Rosé has arrived. She arrived holding 2 boxes. I know the bigger one is my shoes. What about the smaller box?

"Ros, you look stunning." I said. She hugged me and kissed me. But I saw her eyes with tears.

"You're the most beautiful girl, Jen. Sorry I can't stop being emotional since I went to Lisa's room and seeing her so handsome in her suit and now seeing you, the most beautiful best friend in the whole world wearing her dream wedding dress. I just can't believe you two are getting married. I am so happy, Jen. Since high school you know that I am shipping the two of you." She said.

"Ohhh. Stop crying. Our make-up shouldn't be ruined today." I told her.

She open the box and there goes a pair of cinderella shoes.

"I was on a video call with your fiancé 3 months ago during a bid I went to in Paris. She's the one who chose that. So there, I signed the cheque." I can't keep my excitement. I hugged Rosé so tight upon seeing my own glass slippers.

"It's beautiful, Rosé. Thank you so much. What can I do for you in return? Oh my god!" I said.

"Nah. Just be there when Jisoo plans to marry me someday." Rosé said. What the hell? Why am I not informed. We're best friends right!

"What????!!!" I gave the two the tigress stare of a lifetime.

"What? What! This is your fiancé's fault, Jen. You ask her." Rose said as she roll her eyes. Jisoo just laughed.

I shook my head but laughed as well. I can't believe these two are having an romantic thing.

"Here. She has a gift for you." Rosé handed me the small square box.
