I heard hushed voices and I had a feeling I knew where I was. And to say the least I was not happy to be here.
I opened my eyes and shot up.

"what happened?" the four of them asked. I blinked slowly, looking around, I saw Harry and Ginny, who were being held hostage in their own beds by the matron. Lockhart was, however, nowhere to be seen.

I turned back around, and 4 expectant faces met mine. I sighed and told them the whole story, which actually only took around ten minutes.
Suddenly a feeling of annoyance washed over my body penetrating my mind.
Why was I always the one in the hospital bed? I swung my legs off the bed, and Percy smirked, "I don't think Solace is going to let you leave." I froze in my place, my feet on the cold floor.

"too right I won't." a blob of yellow blinded my vision temporarily, and when I regained it, I saw a boy with blond surfer style hair, blue eyes and a stern expression staring at me. Will Solace.

"how come every time I see you, it's because you've hurt yourself and are close to death and I have to save you." He said raising an eyebrow.

"because you work in the infirmary, and that's your job, Solace." I replied smoothly.

"oh, so we're back on second name basis, are we sunshine?" Will retorted, smirking.

"we never came off it. And don't call me that. I'm the opposite of sunshine." I said irritably.

Jason cleared his throat, "as much fun as this is to watch me and Percy got to go speak with professor Dumbledore."

"we're going to tell Crabbe and Goyle you're alright. They got detention, so they couldn't come, but it should be over by now." Draco said, nodding his in my direction. And everyone had left, and it was just me and Will left.

"Nico."

"Will."

He held my gaze for a second longer before announcing, "I'm going to do a check-up make sure you're okay. And when you come back to camp, you owe me 3 days in the infirmary."

"no not the infirmary. I hate it there," I moaned, obviously annoyed.

"well, you should've thought of that before you went strutting into a monster filled zone."

"I don't strut." I said, feigning hurt feelings. Just then will began my very boring check-up. I must've yawned at least 3 times, which is what got Will so annoyed. The next 5 minutes went something like this.

"yawn,"

"Nico stop yawning."

"sorry... yawn"

"Nico!"

"sorry, sorry, it's not my fault this is so boring."

"it's your fault-"

"yawn."

When he had finished bothering me, he said, "Reyna and Clarisse keep going on about how you left without saying bye. They've been giving the whole camp a head-ache, I think they're going to come out here if you don't get back soon."

"well, dad gave me a job, 'make sure there's no trouble here,' and Hecate just blasted me out here, she didn't really give me a chance to go to camp. Plus, I didn't think anyone would notice if I left." I mumbled the last part, but Will heard.

"you really are thick."

"thanks, that makes me feel so much better." I said sarcastically.

"shut up. People at camp care about you, and most of us Don't. Want. You. To. Die." with every word he said he punched me. He punched me in the stomach, and I couldn't hold it in, I started laughing uncontrollably and he stared at me shocked for a second before smirking and saying,

"who knew the almighty Nico Di Angelo was ticklish," he said, and he decided he would start his punching fit again.

"shut up. And anyway, I thought you were supposed to save my life, not kill me." I said, rubbing my stomach.

"yeah well because of you I have to do another check-up."

I put my head in my hands, and said, "I'm fine, Solace." To prove it, I got up out of my head and, despite Will's protests, took a couple of steps towards the door. However, this was a mistake, as I reached for the door handle, my legs gave way and I collapsed, on to the warm body of Will. I was so close I could practically hear his steady heartbeat.

"fine, are you?" he asked, smirking.

I rolled my eyes, and said, "shut up, I want to go to the feast."

"you're not going to eat anything anyway. What's the point?"

"anywhere is better than here." I said, eating a Farley large square of ambrosia that Will was feeding me.

"hmm," Will thought, "maybe eating something would be good for you."

"you said it yourself, I'm not going to eat anything."

"yes, you are. I will force it down your throat I don't care. I have no doubt that you haven't had a decent meal since you got here. You will eat. Doctor's orders."

I sighed knowing he had won when he used the "doctors orders" card. I coughed awkwardly and quickly stood up on my own two feet, after realising I was still leaning on him. after letting me get dressed in my usual black attire, finished with a black Avitar jacket he dragged me down the multiple staircases, to the great hall. I was hardly paying attention, as Will was leading the way. He was half carrying half dragging me to the hall because I really did not want to go, knowing I would be forced to eat around a dozen chicken legs that could suffice me for at least a week.
After a couple of minutes of us wandering around, he realised he didn't actually know the way. He looked at me sheepishly and said cheerfully, "lead the way Sunshine."

This was going to be a long day.
