i walk down the hall, headed to potions class, my face nearly buried in my books. the rumors started a week ago and they've slowed down, but every once in a while i get called a name or a death glare.
cho chang has also been acting differently. i never liked her, and now i'm sure she doesn't like me because i'm with cedric, even though she left him. but normally, she'd tease me anyways. even though it doesn't bother me, she hasn't been doing it lately. i don't know if it's because she feels bad for me, but i have some other ideas.
i also needed to apologize to draco, because i know he's my best friend and he would never do something like that, and i shouldn't have yelled at him, and i was just upset, and he's probably my favorite person, and i know he didn't do it and i love him. wait, what?
cedric
its been a week. but it's... different. i'm not getting called names anymore, i'm not sure why, but y/n was still getting made fun of. that's not even any of their business.
draco
i sat on the couch in the common room, and angie comes walking in. i look at the way her hair shines.
"draco?"
"hmm?" i mumble, without looking up from my paper.
"i think i owe you an apology."
"you think?" i spit.
"draco, i know you would never do something like that. it was really wrong of me to think that."
"yeah, it was."
"are you seriously going to be like this?"
"are you going to be like this? why would you ever think that i would do something like that? go find cedric, i'm busy."
"draco!"
"go away! i never liked you anyways. you were always an annoyance." i yell, with tears starting to form in my eyes.
"i- i hate you!"
i look up at her this time, with the tears starting to drip down from my eyes.
"leave before i do something i don't want to."
she storms off, probably to go find her little boyfriend. meanwhile, i bury my face in my knees, crying until my face is sore.
