"Did you just literally drive here from Gimcheon just to--"

"Why are you wondering when you were talking about this damn new pizza an hour ago," Jin gets inside her unit while holding the pizza he just bought.

Nayeon looks at him in disbelief before closing the door and followed the guy.

Jin placed the pizza in the center table and open it, then he sat on the couch.

"You were like complaining that you can't come because you're--"

She wasn't able to continue when Jin placed a slice of pizza in her mouth without a warning. She glares at him but took a bite nonetheless of the guy's action.

"Yah! Why aren't you letting me finish my sentence?" She exclaimed towards her best friend.

"The way you chat me with that 'Jinjinnieee' already meant you're asking even if it was indirect. I know you for a long time Nayeon, in case you forgot."

His statement silenced her. The guy chuckled seeing the girl's reaction.

"Yah, I told you I can't say no to you right? Why are you forgetting about that and you always seem to be shocked every time I surprised you."

"It's 12 midnight Jin, I'm not expecting you to come."

"It's not a surprise if you're expecting,"

"Arasso!" she said defeated.

The guy chuckled.

"You said you're living with your girlfriend, right?"

"Right."

"Then is it okay for her that you came here and just leave her there?"

"Of course Nayeonie. I wouldn't be here if it's not okay with her."

"Wow,"

"What's with your reaction?"

"Tell me, how much understanding does she have?"

"What?"

"I mean, how is that okay with her? Because for me, I really hate it when Jinyoung makes effort too with other women, and really, it is not okay for me."

"Women are not the same. Just because it's not okay for you doesn't mean it isn't okay for other women too."

"Okay, you have a point," she said then eats her pizza.

"And did you just mean that what I'm doing for you is an effort?"

"Of course Seokjinie, no sane guy would drive an hour just to bring a pizza for his best friend. Isn't that an effort? And I know that everything you've done for me is all an effort that's why I really am grateful I met someone like you."

"But what I've been doing for you is not just an effort,"

"Then what?"

"It's love,"

She laughed.

"Of course, you wouldn't make efforts if there is no love."

"That's right, you're getting it."

"Wait what?!" Nayeon faces him in disbelief, she processed their conversation and she didn't notice what the guy wanted to say.

Jin also faces her and looks at her directly. Nayeon saw all the emotions in the guy's eyes and it is something that she can't seem to comprehend.

Jin moves his face a bit closer.

"It is more than just an effort, Nayeonie" he softly uttered. Nayeon just stares at him not minding the distance of their face as she waits for the guy to continue,

"Because there is genuine love in it... that even if nothing is okay and everything is hurting me, I still want to do everything for you and choose you over and over again."
