[18.1] Ruin

"Jinjiniiieeeeeeee" Nayeon called when she saw her bestfriend.

Jin approaches her and is about to hug her but she stopped him.

"Wait, where's your girlfriend? I am looking forward to meeting her,"

"She can't come." He lied.

"What? Why?"

"You don't have to know. Now, let me give you a hug," he said then he finally hugs her.

"I wish you genuine happiness, Nayeonie." He said tightening the hug. "Always remember that my role as your best friend will not end, okay? I'm always here and there for you."

"Thank you, Jin."

He's enjoying the hug when someone came.

"Kim Seokjin,"

He broke their hug and faces the person who called him.

"Park Jinyoung-ssi," He greeted.

"Nayeon-ah, can I talk to your bestfriend?"

Nayeon can't feel a tension between the two so she thinks it's not that bad to let them talk.

"Sure. I'll be going to greet other visitors." She said then left.

After Nayeon left, Jinyoung seriously faces him.

"I was mad regarding that...uhmm, you know what I'm talking about, and I hope that would be the last," Jinyoung said with a calm tone, referring to the sleeping incident.

Jin chuckled.

"Of course. She's already your wife, she's... s-she's all yours."

"Good to hear."

"Please, don't hurt her. If she's being impatient, understand her. If she disturbs you in the middle of the night so she can satisfy her cravings or maybe she just wants a coffee, accompany her. If she's angry, don't be angrier. If she's--"

"Woah woah, wait Kim Seokjin. What is this? What do you think of me, huh?"

"I'm just telling. Listen, you guys just met like 4 years ago, you still don't know her yet I could say."

"And you're saying those to me because you think you knew her better?" He is starting to get annoyed.

"Yes? Well, we are bestfriends for 7 years before you came and to sum it all, we know each other for about 11 years already. Now, how is that compare to your 4 years? And you ask me if I knew her better? Of course Jinyoung-ssi, of course." He calmly said despite feeling that the young CEO is getting annoyed at him.

"You know what? I have that feeling that you love her, but I don't know why Nayeon chose to be with someone like me who she met for only 4 years over you whom she knows for 11 long years. Aren't you hurt about that thought?" He told Jin smirking.

Jin didn't respond, that reality hit him.

"And now you can't even utter a single word. Maybe because you are..." he paused and moves closer to Jin.

"a pathetic, and a freaking coward." He whispered through his ear.

And that moment, he already can't control all his emotions. He felt anger and bitterness because of what Jinyoung told him.

The next thing they knew, Jinyoung is on the floor with blood on his nose.
