"Because there is genuine love in it... that even if nothing is okay and everything is hurting me, I still want to do everything for you and choose you over and over again."
Jin and Nayeon didn't move just after he uttered his statement. They never stared at each other's eyes that long filled with emotions.
"Jin, what are y--"
Jin hugs her suddenly like a kid. He wraps his arms on Nayeon's waist and rested his chin on her shoulder. The girl is startled by the action but she hugs him back, however.
"Jin, tell me what do you mean by your words?" She said.
"Is that hard to understand?" He replied, his eyes are close while feeling the comfort of the hug.
"What do you mean by everything's hurting you?"
"Don't take that too deep, I am just hurt that my bestfriend will be married soon and will start to have a family. You will be forgetting about me and--"
"Yah! I promised, right? You're my only bestfriend and why will I forget about you? Not gonna happen." She assured and slightly caresses his back.
"Really?"
"Hmmm,"
Jin tightens the hug. There is a sudden silence but it's not that awkward.
"My best friend's so clingy huh?" She said breaking the stillness, Jin just smiled and didn't respond.
All of a sudden, there is a downpour. The sound from the unexpected heavy rain outside made them break the hug.
"I guess, you can't drive home at this hour."
"Perfect time for a hot chocolate and a movie," he said with little excitement, "but only if you're not yet sleepy."
"I'm not. Alright, I'll make us hot choco, you pick and set up a movie." Nayeon said then she stood up.
