Jin looked down and slightly closes his eyes the moment he heard the priest say "You may now kiss the bride."
People around cheered and clapped. The sight of him didn't escape Jihyo's glance that made her walk and went to him. She taps his shoulder.
"You okay?"
Jin looks at her with eyes full of emotions but mostly pain is what is visible.
"Well yeah of course you're not," Jihyo answered her own question. "Was it too late or you're just not meant to be?" She said while looking in front seeing Nayeon and Jinyoung already having their picture taking.
"Both." he shortly replied. Jihyo knows he loves her, he actually told her about it already after Nayeon's birthday and the CEO was shocked, but she never mentioned it to Nayeon because it's not a thing for her to tell, and she also didn't tell that the girl also loved him.
"But why did you come if it will hurt you?"
"I am invited."
"You can still say no."
"She's my bestfriend."
"So what? You can talk to her and just decline."
"I will hurt her if I won't come."
"How selfless could you be?"
"I'm always been selfless when it comes to her."
"You're obsessed."
"I'm not."
"You are."
"I am not. I'm just in love."
"And she's in love with someone else."
He looks at Nayeon in front smiling.
"I know." He replied.
"If you can't bear it anymore, you can go. I will just talk to Nayeon."
"There is no point going away just to avoid it because it will still be the same. She's now married and even if I go to the opposite of this world, it will still be painful."
