[37] Painful Thing

"So, why do you hate my husband?" Nayeon asked. They are at the couch cuddling, her question made him move away from her.

"Don't blame yourself. If only I could also have confessed, there would have been an us. Blame me too for being coward." She scoots closer to the guy to feel his warmth. The rain that started a while ago didn't stop that it kind of caused a cold atmosphere.

Jin wraps his arms around her, sensing that the girl is feeling cold.

"I love you, Nayeonie." He whispered enough to be heard.

"In another life Jin, I will love you." She answered.

They stared at each other's eyes and they heard that the rain outside is pouring more.

"Can we pretend that we're in another life?" Jin pleaded, his voice is asking for more.

Nayeon didn't answer, she is just staring at the guy's intense gazes and she can feel him. Jin's gaze moves towards her delicate lips.

What Nayeon did next surprised him a bit but he loves it, the girl initiated a kiss. He kisses her back and his arm pulled her closer to him. The kiss is getting intense and Jin suddenly felt that Nayeon's hand is about to pull his shirt up, he stopped her hand and he broke the kiss.

"N-no, Nayeon. This is..." He paused, he is panting because of the kiss they just shared.

"T-This is wrong. I still respect you and your husband." He stated, he held the girl's hand that is about to remove his shirt.

"I can stop here. I still can manage up to here but the moment this shirt will be removed from me and I will be partially naked, I can't guarantee that I will be able to control myself." He continued to express.

"J-Jin, let's p-pretend we're in another life." Nayeon answered stuttering.

An answer that clearly meant it's a permission. Jin smiled and let go of the girl's hand, he kissed her and he let Nayeon remove his shirt. After removing, Jin lifts her and he stood up, he let the girl's leg wrapped around his waist.

They continued kissing until they reached the room, Jin slowly lied the girl down on the comfortable mattress and he continued bussing her on top of her.

Jin started to kiss her down to her neck while his hand is busy removing the girl's garments,

and the rest is history.

They made love that night.

It was wrong. It was definitely wrong.

They didn't think of the possible consequences because both their minds were clouded with the thought, "We are in another life where we love each other."

Nayeon found out that she's pregnant when they went to Amsterdam with her husband. That thought troubled her because she and Jinyoung still didn't do that thing. And even if so, she won't get pregnant because eventually, they also found out that Jinyoung belongs to the 1% who has the condition of azoospermia, he doesn't have sperm in his semen that causes infertility.

Nayeon knows it was Jin. When they went for check up in Amsterdam, she was already 2 months pregnant and it is an exact interval of time from when she stayed with Jin at Gimcheon.

Jinyoung got mad, of course he was. That was the biggest fight they ever had in their marriage. They almost split up but Jinyoung loved her so much. He forgave Nayeon with his condition, it is to not tell Jin about the child. He will take the child as it's his own, considering that he can't give Nayeon a kid.

It was painful for Nayeon when she told Jin about her pregnancy as if it's nothing. She just wished Jin won't notice something about the child. Lucky for them, Hyunjin got most the features of his mom and there is no obvious aspect he got from Jin even when he grew up.

Jin was deprived in knowing the truth and Nayeon felt guilty, aside from Jinyoung's condition not to tell him, she was careful not to tell him because it will only create more drama and trouble.

Hyunjin also knew who his real father is, his mom told him but with the thought of avoiding a conflict, he never mentioned about it. It was also painful for him, he wanted to call Jin his 'dad' so much but he can't.

Basically, Jin built a family but because of unmatched feelings and certain conditions, he put on his own family to another man.

What a very painful thing the world gave him.
