Jin is surprised when he heard a little and a familiar voice calling him. He stood up when he saw Hyunjin running towards him.
"Oh! Hyunjinniee!" The little boy immediately hugs him. He stoops down leveling his height then carried him.
"Ahhh! My buddy's getting big, huh?" He remarked while carrying him.
Nayeon approaches them.
"Baby, don't just run around next time! You startled me!"
"I'm sorry." He apologized and clings more to Jin's neck.
"Hey, maybe your son just misses me so much that's why he can't help to ran. Don't scold him." Jin said defending the child.
"Alright alright. You guys are together again and I can't win."
Jin chuckled. They sat down and he put Hyunjin on the chair beside him, the little one started to busy himself eating the pizza he ordered on his table.
They also ordered drinks and have a talk for a while.
"Went here for cheese pizza?"
"Yes, and it's been a while."
"Still same though. They still have the best."
"Yeah, I brought him here to try it. He also loves cheese pizza and wants to make it at home but I told him we'll just buy."
"He's already on the age of wanting more real experiences. Allow him to do so, it will help him with his growth."
"He is. We'll be baking bread later when we go home. I just brought him here because he might insist to make pizza when we are only to bake bread for his dad."
"Ah okay but speaking in general, don't limit him to do things he wants." Jin looks Hyunjin beside him and pats his head softly.
"You sounds like you're also raising a child," she laughed. "Don't tell me you really have one and you're just not telling me?"
"What? You guys are visiting me at Gimcheon and did you see anyone there?" He also chuckled.
"Ah, right. Seriously though, having a family is such a blessing." She stated emphasizing a different meaning.
"Of course, and? You're just telling me again to have mine, aren't you?"
"Jin, I'm sorry but we're getting old. I wonder why you're letting yourself alone when--"
"Don't make me utter something uncomfortable in front of your child." Jin instantly cut off.
"What?"
"I just can't find one, okay? I don't have time to look for a woman just so I can have my own family. And don't ask me why. Again, we're in front of your son."
"So what? I mean, Hyunjin won't understand. We're talking about things that are beyond his mind."
"Yeah but what if he hears his uncle saying I still love you to his mom? He's still young for these conversations but not too young to understand, I guess."
Nayeon is shocked by Jin's statement. She glances at her son, she's glad he's busy playing his Nintendo Switch and doesn't seem to mind their conversation.
"You what? Jin, we already talked about this, right?"
"Right. I'm just saying it again because you're like pushing me to get married and everything. You already knew why I can't do that."
Nayeon can't believe it. She is convinced that the guy is already over her because their atmosphere right now is just like how they treated each other before in college when feelings still not that attached. Now that they opened it up again, things seemed to get awkward. She's actually expecting him to have his own family too.
"I'm happy, Nayeon. Even if I still have this feeling I've been keeping, I still find ways to get happy so don't worry about me. You already have a family, okay? I respect that." He reassuringly smiled at her.
"I'm sorry for pushing you. I just wanted you to be happy too."
"It's okay. I told you, I am happy. I don't want to dig about us anymore. Let's just be happy with each other."
"Uncle Jin, can you kidnap me?" Little Hyunjin spoke out of a sudden.
