Evangeline did not want to go to school on Friday. Her week had been great so far. She had been spending more time with Asher, and she was falling madly in love with him. It was the small things that he did that made her like him even more. Like when he would compliment her on something different each day, or when he would try and pull out a chair for her to sit on, only to remember that he was a ghost and he couldn't move anything. He would meet her after school in her bedroom. Usually, he would wait outside for her, but on Wednesday, he went straight through her walls while she was starting her homework. She nearly had a heart attack. But as Evangeline woke up on Friday morning, she couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen today. She didn't know what exactly she was feeling, but she didn't like it.

Evangeline decided to drive herself to school. Usually Charlotte drove her, but today she needed her own time. She parked in the school lot, quite crooked, and got out of her car, walking into the school. She saw everyone already at their normal spot.

"Eva girl, you look like shit" Charlotte stated. Evangeline rolled her eyes.

"Wow, jeez Char good morning to you too." They all laughed.

"Seriously though Eva, you do look kinda tired" Emily chimed in. Julia nodded in agreement.

"Meh I don't know, today just feels like an off day I guess." They left it alone at that and talked about random things before heading to their classes. As much as Evangeline tried to shake off this feeling, she couldn't help but think that something was going to go wrong today. The bell rang after a few minutes of talking, and they all went their separate ways to their classes.

*Time jump to end of school day*

"Hey Evangeline, wait up!" Evangeline turned around to find Ethan running up to her. The school day had just ended and she had been exiting the building to her car.

"What do you want Ethan?" She gave him a menacing stare, and he threw his hands up in the air.

"Woah woah woah, no need to be so hostile. I was just wondering if you could help me with my car for a second?"

"Your car?"

"Yes, my car."

"Why can't you ask one of your friends for help? Why me?" She wondered why the hell he would ask her, she didnt know a thing about cars.

"Because you're the closest person I saw." They opened the doors and walked outside the school. "So can you help me or not?" Evangeline rolled her eyes.

"Fine Ethan. Although I don't know why you are asking me. I don't know a thing about cars."

"Thank you. I moved my car to the back of the school, so if I needed to call someone, I wouldn't block anyone from leaving this dreaded place." Evangeline gave a small smile, and they walked to the back of the school in silence. They walked up to Ethan's car. At first glance, Evangeline saw that the car looked absolutely fine. Asher went to the front of the car and popped the hood.

"Ok, I just need you to help me with something in here," he handed her a flashlight, "just hold this so I can see what I'm doing." Evangeline nodded, but questioned why he couldn't just do this himself. She turned on the flashlight and leaned into the hood. Asher walked to his car door, opening it and taking something out.

"So, what's wrong with it?" she asked. She waited for him to answer, but he never gave her one. Evangeline was suddenly pulled back from the car, and a black beanie was shoved over her head. She screamed for someone to help.

"Ethan! Charlotte! Asher! Someone help me" she let out as many loud screams as she could, before realizing that most students were already gone from school. Her captor took her arms and held them tightly.

"MOVE. NOW. Or all your friends will be shot and killed." The person was definitely a male, and his voice seemed deep, but like it was being forced. He started walking and dragged her along with him. She heard a car door open and she was thrown into it. She hit the ground with a loud thud and realized she must be in some sort of van. She heard the other person step into the van as well. "Take your mask off and I'll shoot you," he said. Evangeline didnt feel like testing her luck, so she kept the mask on.

"Where are we going?" she asked. She got no reply, instead she felt a throbbing pain as she was slapped across the face.

"Talk again, I'll knock you out. Don't think I won't just because you're a girl either." She stayed silent. She heard the vans engine start, and soon the van started moving. Evangeline could only think to herself as she wondered where on earth she was being taken.

*Charlotte's POV*

Why in God's name was Evangeline following Ethan. The bell had finally rung signaling the end of school. I was about to catch up with Evangeline when I saw Ethan talking to her. She nodded at whatever he said, and they started walking to the back of the building. Me being nosy, I started to follow them. They walked until they reached a car, Ethans I assumed. I didn't want them to see me, so I hid behind the dumpsters, which by the way smelled like ass.

"Ok I just need you to help me with something in here" I heard Ethan say. Evangeline responded.

"So, what's wrong with it?" I tilted my head waiting for Ethan to respond to her, but a response never came. Instead I heard Evangeline start screaming. I started to walk out from my hiding spot, but then I saw that Ethan had a gun in his hand. He shoved a black beanie over her head so she couldn't see. I wanted to go out and kick Ethans ass, but something held me back. I think that if I tried to fight him, he would shoot. The look on his face was absolutely horrifying. He dragged her to a black van and shoved her in, following her shortly after. The van drove away and that's when I came out of my spot. I tried to look at the license plate number, but there wasn't one.

"Shit, SHIT" I yelled. The black van, the one Sarah warned us about. I had to admit, I had no idea what to do. I couldn't exactly tell anyone about this. OH hey umm police my friend was just taken because she can talk with ghosts. Yeah, like anyone would believe that story. I racked my brain for any solutions. ASHER. I have to try and find Asher. I knew that him and Evangeline usually met after school at her house. So I got in my car and drove to her house, a little bit over the speed limit might I add. I pulled into her driveway and thankfully her parents arent home from work yet. I picked up the spare key from under the front door mat, and practically flew to Evangeline's room.

"Asher, Asher are you in here?" I waited for a response, and my stomach curled when none came. But then he spoke.

"Charlotte? Where's Evangeline?" he asked. I could hear the worry in his voice.

"Dude. We've got a serious problem."
