it's officially the last night of summer and then tomorrow we have school. ew. i'm spending the night out with my bestfriends and my boyfriend. they mean so much to me and hold a very special place in my heart.

"JACKSON DONT THROW ME IN THE POOL PLEASE!" i yelled
"i'm not going to throw you babe." he said and then jumped in with me on his shoulders.
"jackson i hate you." i said
"you love me."
"a little bit." i smiled

i got out the pool and sat next to my closest friend, brittany. we have known each other since freshman year and we've never fought and i like to keep it that way. i'm chill and a cool person i don't do too much, or anything less. them kind of people are annoying.

"hey girl what you thinking about?" britt said to me.
"nothing much."
"well you looked kinda disgusted when you were looking at your boyfriend." she said
"i was?"
"yeah. what's going on? do you wanna talk about it?"
"i'm fine, i promise. plus i love jackson i've been with him since eighth grade i couldn't imagine what my life would be like without him." i said and with my white lie, she didn't push me to talk anymore.

it's now 8pm and i'm just now getting into my house. i went inside and there they were. the twins. i hate his brother.

"hey." i said
"hey what's up? i haven't seen you since you were a freshman." grayson said pissy.
"things change." i said
"yeah we need to catch up." ethan said, not acknowledging the tension in the air.
"e i would love to bu-" grayson cut me off
"you have a boyfriend now. we know."
"well i mean that's not the only reason we can't hang out. we have school in the morn-"
"kai stop. ever since you and that guy started dating you've been ditching us to hang out with him like we don't matter."
"well, surprise! i have a life now thanks for caring, i love you grayson with my whole heart! i'm getting in the shower lock my door when you leave please." i said and stormed up the stairs. he pisses me off.

he can't just come into my house talking to me like that. my dad isn't even home right now, why are they even here? i don't care i have school in the morning. i just need to forget about it for now.

i woke up at 5am because jackson, brittany, jake, and i are going to breakfast. we did this everytime we got drunk, or when something big was happening. we always just came to waffle house. i was getting ready and phone dinged. i thought it was jackson because he told me to text him when i woke up. i grabbed my phone fast and it wasn't even him. it was grayson dolan. i haven't talked to him since middle school.

i left it at that. we aren't close like we used to be, but i'm not going to reminisce on the past when jackson i'm with jackson. i get there quickly because i was late. of course they're are all waiting for me. i sat next to jackson and gave him a hug, he kissed my cheek.

"hey babe. why didn't you answer my call?"  i said and sat next to britt
"you called me?"
"yes, i was going to stop by your house but you didn't answer."
"i guess it didn't come through. i'm sorry."
"okay." he was being weird i was on my phone looking at the time every three seconds. then, brittany texted me. something is going on.

look at his neck. didn't you go home last night???

yeah and i didn't leave them. we were at a pool.

after our food came i looked at brittany and raised my eyebrow and smiled. britt took a picture of us and sent it to the groupchat on snapchat saying, 'kai knows jackson cheated on her got her last free meal'.

"wait babe i can explain." he said and looked up.
"no save it. thanks for the food see you in class later." i said and winked at him.

on my way out i texted grayson, i honestly wasn't in the best headspace. it's a lot to take it all at once. i just missed him and our petty arguments. it was 7th grade for me but i missed it. i hesitated on sending the message but just said fuck it.
