kais pov
i woke up in the middle of the night and kaden was up and had his light on. i looked at the time 4:00am. i headed into his room and he was crying. i picked him up and he cried on my shoulder. i turned his light out and we headed to my room.

"what's wrong buddy?" i asked him
"i miss daddy and uncle gray." he said wiping his tears. i didn't know how to respond he's so young. they have been gone for a long time, especially for kaden.
"kaden, uncle gray and daddy are coming home soon. i pinky promise." i held my pinky out and he we kissed our thumbs and pressed them together.
"aunt kai, can i skip school tomorrow?" he said
"no, why don't you want to go to school?"
"i just want to stay home and facetime daddy all day." he said.
"i'll tell you what. you go to school and i'll pick you up early then we can facetime daddy when we get home. deal?"
"deal." he said
"you ready to go back to sleep now?" i asked him.
"can i sleep in here?"
"yes you can." i turned off the light and he quickly fell back to sleep. soon after i drifted off too.

i woke up to my alarm and quickly turned it off to make sure that it didn't wake him up. i got his clothes out and his bookbag so we could do his homework real fast. i made waffles and peanut butter on them or else he won't eat them, and cut some strawberries up and then woke him up.

he finished breakfast and his homework and then got dressed. while we still had time he watched cartoons while i made sure he had everything. once it was time to go we headed downstairs and i took him to school.

when i got home i cleaned up and made sure the house was looking neat. i then got in the shower and got dressed for the day. i did some emails and edited a video of mine. then at 12:30 i went to pick kaden back up from school. on my way there i got a call from the school.

"hello, this is kai, kadens aunt." i said
"hello, kai up kaden doesn't feel good. will you come pick him up."
"yes, i'm on my way." i said and hung up. that was weird he was fine this morning.

when i got to the school and i saw kaden and he didn't look good. i signed him out and then when we got in the car he was perfectly fine. i looked in the backseat and he was giggling.

"kaden dolan!" i said
"you were taking too long aunt kai!" he said
"oh my. did you eat?"
"nope, can we get chick-fil-a please?" he said smiling hard with his missing tooth in the front.
"fine." i laughed and then we pulled off.

after we ate chick-fil-a and he played for a little bit we went home. we did some homework and then facetimed ethan. he didn't pick up. i tried calling him off my phone and he still didn't pick up. so, i tried calling grayson and of course he didn't pick up. kaden started crying it crushed my heart. he just wants ethan. i texted him because it was annoying and frustrating.

kadens looked at me and cried on my shoulder. i rubbed his back and he soon fell asleep. while he was sleeping ethan called me. i went outside on the balcony.

"kai what's up?"
"nothing now. your kid cried himself to sleep." i said pissed off.
"your joking."
"ethan i'm not, it fucking broke my heart seeing him like that."
"wake him up."
"fine." i headed to kadens room and woke him up.
"look daddy is on the phone."
"i don't want to talk to daddy." kaden said
"why?"
"because he's a poopy head."
"kaden be nice."
"no." he said and ran to my room and locked the door.
"ethan you need to come home. he locked himself in my room because your being a poopy head."
"kai i can't."
"no ethan you have to come home! i picked him up from school early because he just wanted to talk to you and you didn't answer. your a dad now, you can't leave him with me forever and expect him to grow up normal." i sighed.
"i'll talk to you later." he said and hung up. i threw my phone at the wall and went to try and talk to kaden.

"kaden, can aunt kai come in. i'm sad too." he unlocked the door.
"yes." he hugged me and i smiled. my shirt came wet and i rubbed his back. someone knocked on the door and it was ethan and grayson.
"look kaden." i said he held his arms out to ethan.

i hugged grayson for a long time and then he gave me a kiss. i smiled and a tear fell down my face.

"don't cry." grayson said and hugged me tighter.
"shut up." i said just enjoying the moment.
"kaden am i still a poopy head?" i heard ethan say.
"no." he said wiping his tears.
"you can't leave us like that ever again." i said to ethan.
"i know." he said and hugged me.
"okay now come here." grayson and pulling me towards him.

for the rest of the day we just hung around and enjoyed eachothers presence. it was nice. i missed grayson so much. i was playing with his hand and then ethan said something to me.

"did you break your phone?"
"i guess." i said and laughed.
"rip iphone 12, you lasted three weeks." grayson said.
"if ethan didn't tic me off, we wouldn't be in there predicament now would we. also, i know for a fact i sounded crazy. i sounded like kadens mom while i was going off on ethan."
"don't worry e, it going to be me next." grayson said.
"kaden said i couldn't have a baby." i laughed.
"i'm aunt kais only baby." he said and hopped on my lap.
"speaking of babies ethan. are you and britt working on baby number two?" i laughed.
"maybe. kaden do you want a little sister or brother?"
"yes." he said
"why can't i have a baby?" i asked him
"because i love you the most." we all started laughing.

9 months later
ethan and brittany had a babygirl and moved into a house near kadens school. her name was bailey and she was beautiful. grayson and i kept kaden overnight and he was excited to meet his new little sister.

grayson looked at me and put his hand on my thigh and rested his head on my shoulder. i grabbed his hand. maybe it's time.

we kept kaden overnight since they were still at the hospital. he quickly fell asleep and grayson and i were getting ready for bed. i looked at him and he looked lifeless.

"what's wrong?" i asked him.
"i want a baby kai." he said.
"i do too, but are we ready for one?"
"i don't know."
"that's why i don't want one right this second. you can't just have it certain days and then get rid of it." i said
"i know babe. we should think about moving and marriage."
"marriage?" i said shocked.
"yes, i want to marry you kai." he smiled at me.
"really?"
"i was going to wait until i don't know you hit like 5 million on youtube, but since we're on the topic." he said
"grayson stop that's not funny." i said.
"no seriously." he went into his drawer and pulled a ring out.
"will you marry me?" he said and smiled
"yes, stupid." i said and laughed.
"your weird." he said
"you purposed to me in underwear." i laughed.
"you loved it." he said
"i did." we kissed.

kaden came in and looked at us. he jumped in the bed and laid down with us.

"we're you guys about to wrestle?" he asked
"no." i said
"good because mommy and daddy used to wrestle all the time before mommy had my sister." grayson and i just looked at each other.
"yeah uncle gray doesn't want a kid." grayson said and laughed
"me either. you can be our forever baby, okay?"
"okay, i love you aunt kai."
"i love you more." he cuddled into me and fell asleep.
