graysons pov
today i'm giving kai her mustang as a house warming gift, since it's the perfect time. i don't know i kept it a secret for a year but i did. she cried when ethan bought her clothes, i'm scared. she thinks i'm shopping for the house but i'm really going to get her car.

my mom and kai were putting things together when i walked in. kai looked deadbeat tired so i told her to take a break. she came and sat on my lap since we only have one seat in the house.

"babe, i have a surprise for you."
"gray, i don't want to help you get things out the car." i went along with it.
"pretty please!"
"fine." she gave in.

when we outside she was confused since my car wasn't out there. i looked at her and he was just confused.

"kai it's your house warming gift." i laughed
"what! no way!" she said shocked.
"yeah, it's yours." i gave her the key.
"well, what about my jeep?" she said
"it's up to you. you can keep it for the summer, maybe if we have a baby, or you can sell it." i said laughing.
"i think i'm going to keep it for another year. i paid the car off already."
"the mustang is almost paid off too."
"what?"
"i've kept this secret from you for a year." i laughed
"thank you." i said hugging him.

kais pov
i love the dork. i just want be 100% ready for a kid. the wedding is next month and i've already got everything i needed for the wedding. we just have a lot of time left. our house was pretty much done, thanks to his mom and ethan.

later that night/
"grayson?"
"yeah?"
"i love you."
"i love you too kai." he said scooting closer and hugging me.
"the weddings so soon, i'm excited." i said cuddling into him.
"i know we'll finally be married, then on our honeymoon you can get pregnant." he said
"i'm off birth control too. we can finally make a baby." i laughed
"really? oh my gosh i thought you were going to make me wait longer." he said.
"i think i'm ready."
"kai, your great with kaden and bailey. you can manage them both when ethan and i aren't around. i think your cut out to be the perfect mother, especially to my children." he laughed.
"you don't want to travel first? have to pick me up from the bar at least a couple more times." i laughed.
"i do." he laughed
"so should i just get a shot?"
"kai your confusing me. do you want a kid or not?"
"gray, don't get loud with me right now. i do, but i don't know! i get it, i'm 21 turning 22 soon but i don't think i'm ready for that type of stress." i sighed.
"kai just tell me." he said
"i don't want a kid right now grayson." i said getting upset.
"why?"
"you and ethan got to go and do everything. i was always home watching kaden and it hurt me and him. i don't want to do that my kid, grayson. he's going always ask 'when is daddy coming home? i want to see daddy', i hated doing it with kaden because he always seemed so fucking sad. i'm not putting my kid through that." i said and got out of bed.
"kai, come back."
"grayson, please i don't want to talk about it." i said a tear slipped down from my face. he saw and came and hugged me.
"okay, we can wait." he hugged me tighter and i cried harder on his chest.
"it just sucks gray. the only reason you guys are home now is because of the wedding." i admitted.
"kai that's not true."
"if britt didn't have bailey and we weren't engaged you guys would be gone." i said.
"kai drop it." he said.
"see you know i'm right." i said.
"okay maybe you are but it fucking hurts me that i didn't know. i didn't have the slightest chance about any of this." he said
"never came up i guess." i said and walked away.

i went downstairs and opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of henny. i just drank it out the bottle. after a while i was a little loopy and grayson came downstairs, he laughed at me.

"take a picture, it'll last longer." i said
"why are you so upset?"
"you." my drunk mind was taking over.
"what about me?"
"i love you a lot and all but when did you ask me if i was okay the last time? yeah before we moved in together." i said
"that's not true." he said.
"yes honey, it is." i said
"i'm sorry."
"it's okay. last time i asked you if you were okay we damn near broke up." i said
"you always ask me if i'm okay."
"babe, i don't." i said
"yes you do."
"noo i ask you if your okay when your stressed out. not like mentally? i don't know."
"that's the same thing." he laughed.
"whatever."
"what do you think about ethan?"
"he's like okay? i guess. i love his little kai." i said slurring my words
"your kai."
"yup, kai dolan nice to meet ya sir." i held my hand out and snatched it from him.
"come on let's go to bed."
"nope, you want some?" i handed him the bottle and he grabbed it from me.
"might as well." he laughed and drunk the rest of the bottle.
"gray! i wanted some." i said standing up going to the fridge and grabbing another bottle.
"kai you wanna make drinks please?" he said
"i can barely see grayson." i said.
"your not slurring, yet." he said.
"your more sober than me. just make them, just not so strong."

i woke up on the floor. i didn't see grayson anywhere. i went to go use the restroom and he was in the bathtub with the water filled up. he had a blanket in there with him. i took a video of him because it was cracking me up and i posted it on my instagram story. i took a couple pictures and put it as my lock screen.
