"dad yes he can." i said walking back up my steps dragging grayson with me
"kai stop. i'll just head home." grayson said about to give me a kiss. i dodged it.
"no you have been staying the night here since we were little. grayson is coming upstairs in my room and going to sleep."
"ka-" my dad cut grayson off
"no he's not. your not going to end up pregnant at a young age."
"how old was mom when you got her pregnant?"
"ka-" i felt bad because we kept cutting grayson off but i didn't care. i was angry at my dad. not grayson.
"exactly she was 17. you told me at age 15 to be careful when i had sex and whom with. guess what dad i'm 17 and i haven't had one pregnancy scare with grayson or jackson. so grayson is coming upstairs in my room."
"kai you need to listen to your dad." grayson said

"fine just go upstairs." my dad said

i grabbed grayson hands and we went upstairs. i got changed into something comfy and so did grayson. he was in bed before me and he wouldn't go to sleep.

"with britt being pregnant, my dads girlfriend, and you not knowing what you want to do for college is stressing me out."
"i'm sorry. all we can do for britt is be there. i told you i was going to let you know when i have a plan for college, but why about your dads girlfriend?"
"she probably set this up. all his girlfriends ever did was treat me like shit. too bad i liked her. goodnight grayson, i love you."

kais dad pov
i can't believe i did that. i didn't do it because olivia told me too. i did it because i was afraid she was going to judge me of being a bad father. i hurt my daughters feelings because i didn't want to look like a bad father.

"olivia what should i do?" i asked her.
"you need to talk to her about it and tell her the truth honey."
"she's going to hate me forever." i put my face in my hands
"no, she's going to hate me forever if she thinks i did it. you're her father she will forgive you. she might not like you for a little bit but she's always going to love you."
"thank you honey." i said and gave her a quick peck.

next morning

grayson wasn't next to me when i woke up. i went downstairs to she if he was down there and he was sitting on the couch talking to my dad.

"good morning princess." grayson said
"good morning." i said sitting on his lap
"what time did you go to sleep?"
"i fell asleep first i'm pretty sure."
"then how are you tired?" he said laughing
"i don't know."
"well good morning princess." my dad said
"good morning."
"when did he start calling you princess?" he said laughing
"since i don't know? umm." grayson cut me off
"i was in eighth grade. you were mad at me and it stuck."
"so you've always had a thing for my daughter huh?"
"yeah pretty much." he said smiling

olivia came downstairs and sat next to my dad.

"good morning everyone." she said
"morning." i said
"so what do you guys want for breakfast?"
"i thought i was making breakfast." i leaned up and told my dad
"oh i'm sorry honey."
"it's whatever." i said laying back on grayson
"why don't you guys make breakfast together babe?" grayson said
"sure. i want cinnamon french toast." i said getting up slapping him lightly
"okay let's get to cooking." she said

we were making the food and she all of a sudden spoke up.

"hey kai i'm sorry for trying to kick grayson out last night. it wasn't right for me to do and i didn't know your guys history. i just don't want anyone to end up like i did."
"it's okay olivia. i'm sorry for acting cold just a couple minutes ago but, if you don't mind me asking. what happened?"
"i got pregnant with someone who i thought was the love of my life, and he ending up abusing me after i got pregnant. i was only 16 at the time and i had a miscarriage and now i can no longer have kids."
"i'm sorry, i really am. i get where your coming from."
"you don't have to apologize. i let my past try to control your future."
"i swear it's okay." i gave her a hug and we continued cooking together.

graysons pov
"hey grayson i'm sorry for trying to kick you out last night. i wanted to look like i took care of business to olivia."
"hey it's all cool. kai was a little mad and thought olivia did it."
"can you tell kai?"
"yeah of course. after breakfast though i don't want her to be mad at you while trying to eat."
"thank you. also if you ever want to marry her it's all cool with me."
"hey i'm still young." i said nervous laughing
"i know but kais mom has never been wrong."
"neither has my dad." i said laughing

after breakfast

"babe cmon i have something to tell you." i told her
"i do too! can i go first?" i shook my head yes.
"so olivia apologized this morning while we were cooking."
"huh? olivia didn't tell your dad to say that your dad wanted to look like he could take care of business."
"grayson what are you talking about?"
"your dad told me this morning while you guys were cooking, that he was sorry. he wanted me to tell you because he didn't know how you were going to react."
"lets go ask them because olivia seemed like she was telling the truth."
"okay bet. five bucks." he said
"deal." we shook on it.

we ran downstairs.

"dad graysons lying to me! olivia apologized to me this morning!"
"you apologized to her?"
"yes i didn't think you were going too."
"huh?" i said
"give me my money." grayson said
"wait no for real. so olivia didn't tell you to say anything to grayson and i?"
"no i didn't but, yes i did have a miscarriage and i can't have kids."
"so olivia is my favorite and dad your my third."
"who's second?" my dad said

"because you won the bet and i have to give you 5 bucks." i said laughing

he put me over his shoulder and we went up to my room. he sat me on the bed and started to makeout with me. i had to stop because i was leaving him alone with my dad.

"gray i'm leaving. i'm going with olivia to go shopping for your present."
"okay. i need to go home anyways my mom misses me."

"your not going to walk me to the door?"
"no. you know how to get there. i do want a hug and kiss though."

he got up and hugged me and gave me a long kiss. he picked me up. i had to stop the kiss again.
