Awakening Sheeple

~ Chapter 29 ~

We finally got home really late, or rather early in the morning, I stripped of my clothes and crawled right into my bed. The sun eventually pried my eyes open, "Kaysen where are you?"

'I'm here Love, just making you some brunch.' His words filled my mind with love.

'Oh man I've missed you! I am so glad you are home.....to stay right?'

He didn't answer. Instead he peeked around the corner and spoke aloud, "you look beautiful." I laughed knowing full well he was avoiding my question, I knew he couldn't make any promises. It was just wishful thinking on my part.

"Come out and have some breakfast Mrs. McKeown."

"Be right there, gotta pee first!" It seems like I had to go pee a lot lately.

Kaysen was at the sink doing dishes as I sat quietly enjoying my food. My thoughts wondered back to all that had taken place the past few days. My mouth dropped open, I stood up knocking my chair backward to the floor with a thud and I began to cry in panic, "Kaysen, Jenn! What happened to Jenn? My dream, it was so horrible!" He spun around at the ruckus and cut off my panic with his soothing words.

"Jenn is fine Love! What are you talking about?" He shook his head in confusion.

"Holy crap! I thought when they took me that she died to save me! Even the baby said she was going to be an angel! And they cut off her finger and the bloody mess, you were so distraught, what happened!?!" I struggled to contain myself.

"I was in LA and I got a call from Helen in Australia saying she had a premonition that you were going to be in terrible danger. It would start when you phoned her. I got back here as fast as I could but I missed them and you. Jenn was alive, she said she heard her phone ringing in her office so she went down to answer it when she came back you were gone! I showed up shortly afterward. Maybe they heard me coming and took off but there was no blood or any kind of clues. I had to figure out where you were before Demo took you to the other side. I had little time to put it all together. Then Steve contacted me and then I heard you and the rest is history. I am just so grateful that I got to you in time." He pulled me to my feet, dried my tears with his sleeve and held me tight.

I was so relieved and happy to be home safe. "I don't want to leave the house Kaysen! I am afraid they will come for me and hurt someone I love!"

"It's alright, I understand, but you know we got Demo, he's gone."

"I know but there are others, three more to be exact!"

"Yes, well only two now actually but we will get them too. The battle will end very soon. You cannot live your life in fear of what might happen, that is what they want! It empowers them and let's them control you."

"I know how they work, but the baby! How can I protect the baby? What if they hurt me and in turn hurt her and the stress isn't good for her either!"

"Okay, so you can go to work, I will take you myself and you can come home. As long as you are with me, my parents, your Dad or Drew you are safe. No worries, right?"

"Okay, right. But what if they call you away again?"

"Worry is just fear in the future Love, be in the moment, don't give away your power."

I just nodded knowingly. He defeated my fear but it was strangely hard to let go of. Ego is like a lasso the dark side has around your mind and soul, living in the moment is the only way to severe it from what I can figure out. I have to be consciously aware of my thoughts and mentally strong. "Okay, right, I straightened up my posture, wiped away my tears, I am going to the office!" I stated with more confidence. I went to take a shower, "do you want to join me?"
