Michael wouldn't stop looking at me during soundcheck which got me thinking if he was starting to think of me as more than a friend. But, I shake the idea out of my head because then I'd start thinking about being more than friends with him.

Contain yourself, Kara.

"Hey, Kara, mind getting me some water and some doritos?" Luke speaks into the mic bursting my Michael bubble.

I give him a thumbs up and he winks at me, making me cringe a little less than usual. I set four water bottles and a big bowl of doritos on the table backstage and get back to scheduling the guys' upcoming shows.

"These are the wrong ones, dollface." Luke says as he munches on some chips.

I roll my eyes. "What are you talking about?"

"These aren't spicy," he says.

"There were only regular ones," I shrug. "And why'd you call me dollface?" I look up at him furrowing my eyebrows.

"Why not?" He smiles and winks except this time it didn't annoy me as much. I guess I got used to it.

I slyly smirk. "Because I'm no doll."

He just bites his lip and scans his eyes up and down my body. I feel my face heat up and I quickly look away.

"Got any more tattoos?" He sits a bit too close next to me but I don't mind.

"Yeah." I simply say keeping my eyes on my agenda writing dates and stuff.

"Can I see?" He softly whispers into my left ear leaving goosebumps all over me.

My heart starts racing and I feel myself turn red. Fucking shit. He can't make me feel like this. I can't feel like this because of him.

Stay focused, Kara. Contain yourself, again.

"How 'bout no," I laugh as I scoot away from him.

"Suit yourself. I was gonna show you mine," he lays back against the armrest.

"You have tattoos?" I say in awe. He looks too innocent to have tattoos. I mean, he's in a pop rock band. Or maybe I just got used to heavy metal bands with the members all tatted up and shit. "I mean, it's just... you don't look like the type, I guess."

"I'm not as good as people think I am."

"I guess we do have something in common, then." I genuinely smile at him.

"I'm glad," he curves his lips as he locks his eyes with mine.

"You know you're on in like 5 minutes, right?" I check my black watch.

"Oh shit!" He springs up and runs out onto the stage.

I shake my head as I go back to scheduling shows. I only booked them two shows in November for the tour this year seeing as they're super busy and obviously need a big break. I wonder how they do it. Going from place to place in such a small amount of time. Right after this, we're flying to the U.K for a couple shows and after that, we're going to Chicago for another show. AND after Chicago, we fly back here for their new music video shoot. Crazy. Just... insane.

We arrive at the hotel just in time to rest for our flight the next day. I make sure I have everything in my suitcase ready to go for tomorrow before going to bed. I slip on my favorite Nirvana sweats and a black long sleeve and sink under the covers.

"What time does our flight leave tomorrow?" Luke asks out loud from his bed on my left.

"9 a.m." I yawn.
