reality

the truth is i kind of know
what my question can be 
but it's too dark in here 

i don't want to see
whatever is lurking in here
disguised as a dream 

reality is frightening 
like looking into the eyes 
of your deepest desires 

and knowing that
while passion holds the reins
reason jumped off the horse

and you can't do anything
