Lili's POV:

Where the hell is Cole! He has been 'missing' for almost 12 hours and I'm starting to get scared. Where could he be and why was he not picking up his phone. We were all at Dylan and Barbara's place and Ella was playing with her brothers and dancing around as if nothing had happened. Despite the huge bandage on her forehead, which she hated, she looked normal and healthy.

L-"Dylan I'm starting to get worried, I think I should go look for him. Does he have any favorite spots he might be at?"

D-"Well I called all of my friends and none of them saw him today. He never showed a particular liking to any location, I mean obviously, the comic book store was important to him but that's closed."

L-"Really you guys didn't have a bar or something you would go to?"

D-"No I mean we went to a couple but there isn't any specific bar Cole really liked. We were pretty antisocial kids, we mostly just played videogames and ate food during our free time. So yeah we were always stuck inside the apartment. But I mean he usually left to go take photos, maybe he found a spot he liked."

L-"Well it just seems pointless to look for him when I have no idea where he could be."

D-"Maybe he's in the hotel room. His phone could have just died and he forgot about it."

B-"If he was at his hotel room there would be phone chargers right? So he could just charge his phone."

L-"Yeah we have like 5 chargers there. The kids ipads are also there and he could just facetime me or something."

D-"Guys lets not forget who we are talking about here. My mom once almost filed a missing person's case when Cole was just playing Nintendo in his closet under a blanket. He sometimes just gets so focused that you can scream his name and he won't hear you or notice time passing by."

I nod at him, I've noticed this before in him when he reads the script sometimes or when he is editing his photos. Once he told me he was just finishing up something before bed and when I woke up to feed the babies after 4 hours he was in the same spot. Luke also has this which scares the crap out of me because when I call for him he won't answer.

L-"Maybe I should go back to the hotel then... But I can't cause I don't have car seats, those are in the rental car and-"

B-"Don't worry we'll watch them."

L-"I'll just take Ella with me, the doctor said to keep a close eye on her, and it's a small drive so it won't be a problem without a car seat. Thank you guys you are lifesavers!"

D-"Call us if you need anything, and please tell me if you find cole."

I went into my hotel room but he wasn't there. I laid in bed and let out a big sigh, I scrolled through my text messages and just hoped he would send me something, just a thumbs up would do. I was scared, not that he was kidnapped or something because that just seems unlikely, but that he was doing something stupid. Cole was sometimes impulsive and would answer back when fans were rude to us on the street. I just hope he wasn't rude to anyone or that he didn't talk about our personal life with someone who would blab it all to the press. The fans knew that I had three kids, they saw the paparazzi shots and I sometimes mentioned it in interviews. People suspected that the twins were also Cole's children but no one really knew about Ella. No one knew their names except us and the people we were close with.

I thought about where Cole could be again and I remembered a place he always talked about. It was the rooftop of his old apartment. It was far fetched but I thought I would check. Ella was asleep in her bed and even though I hated waking her up, I would never leave her alone in a hotel room so I forced her to come with me. This was my last hope, the last place that I would check.

I was tired of looking for him like he was a missing child or a lost puppy. I got there and just wanted to turn around and go back home. Right, when I walked in there was an 'out of order' sign on the elevator, meaning that I would have to walk up 15 flights of stairs with a sleeping kid on my arms. But I had this gut feeling that he would be up there so even though my whole body was in pain, I continued to climb up the stairs until I reached the very top. When I got there I started smiling, remembering how Cole brought me here just some weeks ago.

But my smile quickly became a frown as I walked across the empty rooftop. Great, I just went up a million flights of stairs for nothing. I woke Ella up because she is just too heavy to be carried back down. She was full of energy as she skipped down the steps like it wasn't 5 am.

E-"Mommy look this person left the door open. Maybe I should ring the doorbell and tell them."

L-"Do whatever you want."

E-"Mommy! Mommy! Come here! I hear daddy's voice in there."

L-"what now Ella!?"

E-"Its true mommy he is in this house."

I looked at the front door 7c, that was his old apartment. Before I could process anything Ella ran into the apartment.

Hey guys!

This part is really short but I just felt like posting today.

I just wanted to thank you guys for the support you showed in the last chapter, I really appreciated it. And as you can probably tell I am continuing the book :)

Q: Do I go for a more realistic path where Lili and Cole aren't together or should I just invent a storyline where they are together?
