Bad Reputation

Ch. 12

H- "GUESS WHO!!!!"
J- "y/n! Heidi's here!"
Y/n- "I know! I heard her!"

This is a usual conversation that happens in this house. I was upstairs having a shower when Heidi came in, I'd say she used our spare key under the pot plant outside and let herself in. Which we're all fine with. Jesse must think I'm deaf or something cause I'm pretty sure our neighbours heard Heidi come inside. I got dressed and went into my room, where I found Heidi sitting cross legged on my bed.

H- "okay you've spent the last 2 days moping and ignoring everyone since you left class early. I know what Stephanie said and I also talked to Tyler about it and-"
Y/n- "you did what?"
J- "oooo whose Tyler?"

Jesse jumped on my bed. Laying beside Heidi on his stomach with his face in his hands. Kicking his feet behind him like a 5 year old.

H- "he's my boyfriend and Chris's bestfriend"
J- "oh I see. Go on"
Y/n- "what exactly did you tell Tyler?"
H- "I asked him if what Stephanie said was true and he said it's not. He also told me Chris is very upset about the whole thing and he just wants to talk to you"
Y/n- "well I'm quite happy ignoring him currently"

I said crossing my arms as I sat on my desk chair.

J- "she's being a drama queen again"
H- "like always"
Y/n- "Jesse. You're 21 and still interested in highschool drama"
J- "if it involves my little sister, I've got to stick my nose in somewhere"

I rolled my eyes at my childish brother.

H- "you can't ignore him forever you know"
Y/n- "maybe not. But I can try"
J- "alright come on. We're going out"
Y/n- "but last time we went out-"
J- "so what you seen Chris? You ignored him. I thought you were going to try that"

I death stared him.

Y/n- "fine"
H- "yay. Cause we're going to the mall"

We spent the entire day at the mall and successfully did not run into Chris. I continued to ignore his texts and calls. Whenever I went on my morning runs, I ran my old track. To avoid going passed his house. I didn't go to school until Thursday when Jesse made me.
