Y/n- "ugh I don't want too"
J- "you've missed 3 days because you're avoiding Chris. So you're going. End of discussion"
Y/n- "but mum said I could stay home today"
J- "cause she doesn't know the real reason you're not going"

I fake coughed twice.

Y/n- "see. I'm sick"
J- "nope. Get up"

He ripped my blankets off me and pulled me out of my bed by my arms.

Y/n- "fine. Fine. I'll go"
J- "good. Get dressed"

He left my room and I got ready for school. Throwing on some jeans and an oversized hoodie with my vans. I brushed my hair and teeth and went downstairs to pack my bag before Jesse and I left. We picked up Heidi on the way.

H- "finally you're coming to school y/n. I missed you"
Y/n- "I missed you too. But I didn't leave my house by choice"

I glared at Jesse. To which he smiled proudly. At the fact that he managed to get me out of bed. We arrived at school and I could see Chris's car was already here. Heidi and I got out and went into our lockers. I opened mine and a letter fell out. I looked at her confused and she shrugged her shoulders and went back into her locker. Which is next to mine. I picked the letter up and opened it. Heidi looked over my shoulder to read it too.

- y/n, I don't know what I did. But I'm sorry. Please talk to me... C-

H- "he misses you y/n"
Y/n- "yeah well that sounds like his problem"

I said slamming my locker shut and scrunching the letter up into a ball. Throwing it into the nearest trash can. In maths I sat in my usual spot with Heidi and Chris walked in. He looked almost sad, he made eye contact with me before his eyes fell to the floor. With his head down he walked to the back and sat in his seat next to me. He didn't speak to me at all during the lesson. Until he slid his book towards me and I seen writing on the corner of the page.

Y/n, I don't know why you won't talk to me. But can you please come to the game tomorrow night? It would mean alot to me if you were there. It's the last game of the year.

I decided to write back. I lifted my pen up and I seen him move forward slightly.

I guess

I watched out the counter of my as Chris smiled slightly. The bell then rang and Heidi and I went to our lockers.

H- "so what did he say?"
Y/n- "what? Chris?"
H- "obviously"
Y/n- "he asked me to go to the game tomorrow"
H- "andddddddd??"
Y/n- "I said I guess"
H- "good because I really wanted to go"
Y/n- "of course you did. Come on, we have to go to assembly"

I laughed. We walked into the hall and we sat down near the front. Chris and his friends didn't sit with us today.

Principal- "okay students. The big football game is tonight but I expect everyone to be on their best behaviour. Have a great summer. And juniors, I'll see you all next year as our new seniors!"

At the end of the assembly. Jesse picked Heidi and I up once again and drove us back to our house.
