A week later. A Monday morning. I thought nothing special about it. Just your normal day. I got up and went for my usual run. Stopping to talk to Chris as I passed by his house. Then eventually returning home, showering and getting ready for school. Throwing on my usual everyday clothes and getting in my car. Since Jesse wasn't dropping me off today, I drove. I picked up Heidi on the way and we went to school. Parking beside Chris in the carpark, where both he and Tyler were waiting for us beside Chris's car. We got out and Heidi went over to Tyler. Chris opened my door for me and I got out. Standing face to face with him.
C- "good morning my love"
Y/n- "good morning"
C- "coming to my game tonight?"
Y/n- "I wouldn't miss it"
C- "good. Because I've got a surprise for you"He smiled. For the rest of the day I continued to think of a million different possible surprises Chris could have for me. I couldn't be more excited to see what it could be. After a long day, it was finally game time. Before the game I made sure I put on Chris's jersey that I still had. He looked up at me and smiled. I blew a kiss to him before the game started. First half went by and the school team was leading. Chris ran off and soon the halftime show was starting. But it was no normal halftime show. Chris and the boys all ran back on the field. On a stage like platform that was placed out. Each boy had a sign to hold up and Chris stood in the middle with a microphone.
C- "y/n y/l/n. My amazing girlfriend. Would you please come down here?"
He said. I smiled and could feel myself blushing. I looked over at Heidi beside me.
H- "go!"
She said. Pushing me slightly. I walked down the stairs and onto the field. As I got closer the boys turned all the signs around. I read each word.
'Y/n, will you go to the prom with me?'
I defiently had tears in my eyes. Everyone in the crowd awed. Chris got down off the stage and walked over to me. He grabbed one of my hands in his as he held up his microphone with the other.
C- "so y/n. Will you?"
I nodded instantly. Letting a happy tear slip out of my eye.
Y/n- "yes"
