It's been 2 months since I confessed my feelings. It's also a month before summer began. The good thing is that school's out, but there's one thing that I hate the most. It's the weather being hot most of the time.
Kakeru already talked to my parents, and they agreed that we'll live in this house together. In the first month that we had a relationship, he had already built my parents' trust.
The house we live in has 2 floors, and is owned by Kakeru's family.
What my parents thought was very logical since I wouldn't need to spend money on dormitories anymore. The house is very close to the school we go to. He walks me there.
The house may be hard to clean, but since we do it together, it became one of our bonding activities.
Summer is terrible. It's scorching in here, especially in the living room. I can't understand what I'm watching anymore since all I could think of is the heat.
I felt someone sitting beside me on the couch. I didn't bother looking at who it is, since I'm sure it's him. I can see him in my peripheral vision. He's looking at me, with s hint of concern on his face.
"Aww. You feel hot?" I nodded as an answer.
"Change clothes. We're getting icecream." Hearing his words made a smile form on my lips. He knows the simple ways on how to make me happy.
He didn't turn on the radio in his car. He only played something on his phone, as we headed towards the mall.
"Remember the day you confessed?" I nodded. I still blush every time I remember that day.
"At school, I caught you staring at me as I listened to my earphones. You were wondering what I was listening to right?"
"Yeah." He saw me? I got red so many times that day and yet, he's adding more reasons for me to remember how embarrasing that day was for me.
"It's this. It's Yorushika's Hitchcock."

The phone played.
"That's my favorite line from the song." He commented.
"What does it mean?" I asked, as he stopped the car since a red light could now be seen up ahead. He now looked at me with his usual smile.
"Is it selfish if I just want to know you?" My face felt hot.
"No."
"That's the meaning. I wasn't asking you dummy." He said before letting out a soft laugh.
Out of embarrasment, I swiftly looked away from him. I now focused my attention on the window to my right.
"Aww. Why look away? You know, your face is at its cutest when it's red."
I bit my lips to prevent myself from making weird noises. We finally arrived at the mall. As we entered it, he suddenly held my hand. I know that couples do it, but I still can't help but feel shy about it. I'm still not used to it.
His hand was warm, as if telling me to calm down. My gaze met his, which made him nod.
The cold breeze of the mall completely blew away the stress I had because of the heat. It's a good thing that I changed my clothes into a pants and a blouse with sleeves. If I didn't, I would have been shivering at the moment.
