Kozachi's POV

We both frowned at each other when our gaze met. We opened the doors to our own rooms at the same time.

Yes, we didn't sleep together last night.

The hint of sleepiness from her eyes vanished upon seeing me.

She pouted before walking away.

Why was she the one who's mad?

She's the one who stunned me.

She didn't even say sorry, the reason why I'm mad at her.

She's angry at me for being mad at her.

Girls huh? They just won't admit defeat. They don't like apologizing either.

I sighed before my feet dragged me to the kitchen.

We now both walked to school. The only difference is that she's about 10 meters ahead of me.

She really doesn't want to be beside me.

She turned left to enter through the school's gate, and at that moment, I saw her eyes.

They were looking sideways, aimed at me. She had the hint of sadness.

People on the hallways threw us glances. Stares that were questioning us.

"Saki's mad at you isn't she?"  was written all over their faces.

The downsides of many people knowing that you're in a relationship. Attracting unwanted attention from them.

Our eyes accidentally met when I entered the classroom. She was the first one to look away. She now looked through the window to her right as she sat on her chair.

I now sat down as well. I then brought out a book and started reading it as I waited for our first period teacher.

Confusion fell upon the room when two of our batch mates in semi formal attires entered instead of a strict woman.

This confusion turned into relief as they explained that they will be substitutes. Everyone was happy with that.

We don't really like the real one.

This is probably the first good thing that happened to me today. Everything else is just horrible.

"Who would like to explain the suffix ane?" Kakeru asked.

Saki threw me a glance before standing up. It's as if she wants me to compete with her.

"Okay, you miss?"

"Saki."

"Okay, miss Saki. What's ane?"

"Ane is used when the proportion of Hydrogen to Carbon is 2n+2:n respectively." She then sat down.

"Good! Now who's going to explain ene?"

I instantly stood up before anybody had the chance to raise their hands.

Is it just me, or are they not raising their hands on purpose?

"Kozachi." I said.

"Ene is used when the proportion of Hydrogen to Carbon is n:2n respectively." I then immediately sat down.

She was once again about 33 feet away from me as we walked home.

I'm starting to think she has her day today. You know.

The day that visits you once a month.

It's unusual that she'd get this cranky. I've never seen her like this and it scares me a lot.

We headed separate ways upon reaching the second floor. She suddenly doesn't want to share rooms anymore.

Even my dad knows what's going on, and we didn't even tell him the situation. He still decided to not join in the issue since he knew that we could fix somehow it on our own.

I changed my attire into a more casual one before doing my homework.

Dejavu hit me as she entered the room. The way she opened the door was much slower compared to her usual one.

This was the same scenario when she stunned me. Me sitting as I faced the table doing my homework, while she stood near the door.

Our eyes met. I expected it to be a glare, but it wasn't. It was very similar to the sad ones she had when she entered the gate.

She also had a pout on her lips and her cheeks were puffed.

To be honest, she looked very cute.

She then instantly ran to me. She then pushed me so hard that I laid on the bed.

She hugged me afterwards.

"Kozachiiii." Her voice was whiny, far from her usual monotone.

She hid her face on my chest, probably hiding her red cheeks from my sight.

"I'm sorryyyy." I can't respond. I'm still stunned at the unusual attitude she's showing.

She now stunned me twice.

I don't know why, but I find this side of her very cute. Like a kid begging for her parent to buy her a candy.

"Kozachi." She now stared at my wide eyes. They were wide without me realizing it.

Her face was all red.

"I'm sorry. Forgive me, now."

I sighed before letting out a smile. Her mood changed upon seeing the change of my expression.

"All I needed was an apology. You're forgiven." I patted her head as I said these words.

She now hugged me tighter, making the smiles on our lips wider.
