Reward (Saki x Kozachi)

Saki's POV

"Saki." I almost dropped my phone at his sudden entrance to my room.

I forced a smile in an attempt of making his glare go away. It didn't work.

"I told you. We need to review." He now picked up my phone.

"I'm confiscating this." I frowned. What is he? My dad? Well, I like him more than my dad but still.

"But Kozachiiii." My whiny voice also didn't work. He's really serious.

He sat on my bed before staring at my eyes.

"There are exams tomorrow. Review okay?" Even though I really don't want to review, I still nodded.

"I'll give you a reward if you score above average on all the tests tomorrow." My eyes widened.

His rewards are random. That's what makes them motivate me the most.

"Then, help me review." He chuckled.

"Sure. I'm done reviewing."

We now faced the table where all my notes were on. I did the same.

When we were both sitting straight, I leaned onto him.

I can't help it. I just crave for his warmth at the moment.

"Saki. We need to--"

"We can review like this." I shut him off. He sighed before agreeing with me.

What's with boys not wanting to have physical contact with girls? I don't see the harm.

Besides, I trust Kozachi a lot. He's too innocent to do anything naughty to me.

"What's my reward?" I asked as we were halfway in our review session.

"Secret." I glared at him, but he didn't care.

"It'd have a greater effect as a surprise."

I'll be honest. He's a very good teacher. All the terms bored me from scanning through them. With him, I was more confident that I'd ace the tests.

I pinched his nose to wake him up. Just like what he did to me before.

"Wake up, now." He chuckled.

"This is the first time you woke up before me. Excited much?"

"Yes. Excited to claim my reward." My reply made him pat my head.

His pats weren't heavy. They were just enough for me to feel secure with him.

"Okay then. Make sure you get good grades."

I smiled upon the moment my eyes laid on the questions. Everything we reviewed showed up.

I threw him a glance and was surprised when he was already looking at me.

He gave me a thumbs up, in which I replied to with a nod.

Without Kozachi, I would have failed another test. I'm lucky I chose him.

For the first time, something made me grin. Not someone, but something.

All of my test papers had a mark that had a range of 42-46, out of a 50 item test.

I will surely win his reward.

As I packed all my things after I put on my cap, my thoughts were filled with so many questions.

"What's his reward?"

"5 boxes of ice cream?"

"A new cap?"

"Another stun pen?"

I'm so curious that I didn't even realize I already walked up to him.

"Reward, now." He softly laughed before whispering in my ear.

"Later at home, okay?"

I bit my bottom lip to prevent myself from bombarding him with insults just because he's leaving me hanging.

"Fine."

My pace was trying hard to keep up with his. I'm preventing myself from walking quicker than him.

The last time I did, is because I was mad at him. I wouldn't want to repeat the same event.

For some reason, getting ignored by Kozachi in one day hit me real good. That's why I ended up apologizing by the time the sun set.

If I couldn't take 24 hours of his snobbing, what could 48 probably do?

I shoved all my papers onto his face with a proud smile curved on my lips.

He looked shocked because of them. You're not the only one. I surpassed my limits, by a lot.

He suddenly hugged me.

"Omg Saki! Your scores increased by about 20 compared to the last quarter!"

Dummy. It's all because of you.

"Is this hug the reward? We do this everytime." He once again let out a soft laugh.

"Nope. Of course not." He now broke out of our embrace.

"Then what?"

"Close your eyes. I'll go get it." My eyes instantly obeyed.

I'm guessing it's another cap.

"Don't open them okay?" I didn't

Heat filled my face as I felt something.

He kissed my lips.
