what else could i have expected?
with an expression so large
plastered on my face.
their vibrant colors keep me in awe.
i find myself submersed in your saturation.
a loss for words, i've run out of ways
that can delicately place what i once felt.
for the steps i have built have up and left.
simply floating back into the atmosphere,
from whence they have arrived.
difficulty shows in the joints of my movements,
my rubber bands pulled taught.
you've stretched to your hearts content,
but holding our position is growing tiresome.
i fear the sting and stay positioned.
till the comfort settles in and i pull it with ease.
the tension falls away as i'm left holding on.
colors flash around me,
with your hand over mine.
