ANNIE POV
Today is Mia's birthday, usually when she's birthday, we'll celebrated it together. Tonight I planned to invite Edward and Inda to give her surprise party. I planned to give her puppy, she wants to have it for a long time. I'm going to the pet shop on my way home. At the pet shop my phone ringing.
"Hi baby , where are you ?" Arthur sound worried
"Honey, I want to buy puppy for Mia's birthday. Is something wrong ?" while looking at the puppies
"Wait me there sweet heart" Arthur hang the phone. I looking around when I see a white thick hairy poodle. I hold and I know she's going to be perfect for Mia's present. Still focusing with the puppies, someone hug me from behind, I can sense its Arthur. Turn around, I smile to him.
"Honey, how long have you been here" I pouted
He chuckled "Not long baby, I loved watching you"
After paid the present, we walk to the restaurant next the pet shop. When we enter the restaurant, so many women looking at Arthur. He's looking appealing, moreover when he in his business mode. No wonder women get attached to him. The waiters come to us to take the order, she's looking at Arthur tempting. But unexpected, Arthur seem ignored her, instead he looking at me, smile and look at his menu.
"Don't you know that every women in here adore you?" I teased him.
He moving closer to me whisper seductive "I don't care with other women, I only care when you the one who adore me" he holding my tight. I gasped, looking around, but it seem no one care with us. The waiters come bring out our food.
While we eating, I heard someone says "Arthur darling, It's been a while, I missed you" a women tried to hugh Arthur, but Arthur step back and looked angry. If look can burn, I bet she's already dead by now. The woman wear sexy dress, her skin look flawless, she's wearing branded fashion.
"Who the hell is she Arthur?" the women looking at me disguist.
Arthur snap at her "Don't try me Monica, Annie is my fiance, I love her, leave her alone, if you interfere my relationship with her, you will find the consequences immediately"
Monica shocked, her face red, she's silence couldn't reply.
Arthur stand, suddenly he grab my hand then slid his hand in my waist, kissing my neck then speak loudly "Baby, come lets go, don't waste our precious time here" I bet she heard that clearly. In front of the restaurant I see our car, I slide inside. I notice his body still tense, I move close to him, try to soothing him. I put my hand in his cheek, kiss him slowly, and his body slowly relax.
"What have you done to me Annie" he murmured
I softly said to him "have you already buy present for your favorite daughter ?" trying to distract him. He snuggled to me "I buy a car for her, an A
"Since when I became your fiance Mr knight" I teased him,
He laughter and kissing me deeply then looking at my eyes "Its only a matter of time baby, in the end you will always be mine" he said it husky.
When we arrives home, I don't see Mia, I walk to our room then take my clothes and start showering. When I'm done, I see Arthur sit in the bed looking full of lust at me, "baby if tonight isn't Mia birthday, I think I can't handle my self" my cheek flushed, I feel my heart beating fast, and felt burn inside.
When I take downstairs, I heard Mia laughter, I bet Edward is coming. I'm going to the kitchen and looking the preparation. Pierre such a wonderful chef. Mia's is his favourite too. We gathering together. I prayed for Mia, her safety, happiness, her love life. I closed my eyes, fell tears down. Arthur caressing my cheek, I lean on his shoulder, we're watching Mia opened her birthday present.
She's screaming and hug me tight when she see the puppies. I know she want it so much. That's when she frowned, sit in Arthur lap "Dad, you don't give me present?" her eyes teary.
"Darling, sweetheart, don't be sad. Of course I bought you something. But I'm afraid I can't bring it here. Why don't you take a look outside" He pointed outside.
Mia running to the door and opened it. She's screaming harder, looking back at Arthur the jump to Arthur "Daddy, Is that my car ? Is that my present?"
Arthur kiss her cheek "Yes, its your. But until you got your driving license, you will get your own personal driver." Arthur said sternly
Mia looking at me and said "Mom, that's the best present that I ever get in my life"
I never stop being grateful having Arthur. He never failed me. After our counter with Monica, I never doubt his faithful to me. He already proved himself to me. I know that now I already falling in love with him. He become a part of my heart, even Mia accept him as his daddy.
While Mia admiring her car, I'm going back to the living room, I see Inda there I sit next to her take a sip of wine "I'm happy for you and Arthur. You deserve him, you get your second chance, fight for it, you know I always with you when you need me" Inda hug me.
"thank you, you always with me all this time, you're my best friend" I hug her back.
I see Mia in her room, she is already sleep, I think she might be exhausted because of her birthday, I kissed her forehead, turn off her light then closed her door. I walking and open my room. Arthur is already at bed, he's looking at the laptop in his lap. I take a shower and changes into my nightgown. I get in to the bed and snuggled to him.I put my head in his shoulder and closing my eyes feel sleepy. When I not realize I already deep sleep, I feel Arthur put my head on the pillow then his hand on my waist, kissing my forehead and whisper "goodnight baby".
